@peterparrotface, no, you would think that showing your men's season ticket at the turnstile would be enough. It's all on the same ticket system. Perhaps they need to allocate people to seats in advance.
I have a Chairgirls season ticket, printed out, which does not have a QR code on it. I was told by WW Foundation that I just need to show it at the turnstile. In case it's not accepted, I have also booked a ticket online for my men's season ticket, and that reserves a seat, but there are plenty still available.
Had this game been on a Sunday, or not clashing with Rotherham, we might have expected several hundred turning up. Hopefully Reading bring a lot.
HT 3-0, one sided, Reading rarely into the Wycombe half, balls over the top were catching them out early on, but they have done well to stop the flow of goals, only half chances since then.
Att. 567, a record for the Chairgirls. Reading couldn't match the quick passing, speed of the front three, and the physicality of the Chairgirls. Reading had a late flurry, forcing Amber Taylor into two fine saves. Jess Watkins was POTM but the Reading keeper had an excellent match with several good saves and punches. A highly successful evening, good to see so many here. A big cheer went up when Rich scored, several watching on phones.
Once again, it's just the U18s playing this weekend, when they host Aldershot Town at Burnham tomorrow, ko 10:30.
The Shots lost 6-1 to the Chairgirls in November, and have lost all six of their games, with a GF-GA of 5-40. They lost 9-0 at leaders Ascot last week.
The FA has dropped plans for reorganizing the Women's pyramid, for the 2026-27 season, following feedback from clubs. That means only one promotion place will continue to be available next season for the Firsts.
This was not discussed in the W3 update at the Trust meeting last night. It was announced that the home game at Burnham against Winchester City Flyers, on Sunday 6th April, will be free entry to all.
Trevor Stroud confirmed that the Adams Park pitch will be relaid in the summer, which should allow the Chairgirls more game time on it next season. The new Desso pitch will have new under soil heating, and an integrated irrigation system for the first time. The pitch will be widened. This upgrade will complete the commitment Rob Couhig made to replace it.
Trevor also confirmed that work was being undertaken at Marlow Road, but was not in a position yet to say what that was for. After the success of the Reading game at Adams Park, I think bringing home the Chairgirls to their home town is the top priority, otherwise it will hold back their progress. We will see if Marlow Road is part of that plan.
Access at Marlow Road has got to be a limiting factor for games to be played there. Once the car park is filled, not sure where anyone would leave their car.
On Sunday the Firsts host Sholing, who are mid-table with 20 points from 15 games. The reverse fixture in September was a 0-0 draw, and Sholing's recent league games saw a 4-0 defeat at Ascot, and a 3-1 loss at home to the Flyers. Kick-off 2pm at the 1878 Stadium, Wymers Wood Road, Burnham SL1 8JG.
Sholing took an early 3' lead, but a Puddefoot brace on 10' and 13' (a pen and a free kick), overcame that. Potter (22') and Kern (41') increased the lead, and Potter scored the fifth on 87'.
Other results in the Premier. Portchester won 3-1 at Selsey, Flyers won 6-1 at Badshot Lea, and Oxford City thrashed Reading 10-0 at home, with nine of those goals in the second half.
Latest table. The Chairgirls still need to win their two remaining games, Flyers (H), Oxford C (A), to be sure of second place. Porchester have to play Woodley (A), Reading (H), Ascot (A) and Sholing (H).

5' WW 1-0 Reading
Jess Watkins volleys in a Puddefoot cross at the far post. Great finish.
8' 2-0 Watkins again, slotting home a Potter cross.
11' 3-0 Danielle Puddephat direct free kick, over the keeper, from the side of the penalty area.
HT 3-0, one sided, Reading rarely into the Wycombe half, balls over the top were catching them out early on, but they have done well to stop the flow of goals, only half chances since then.
Origin stand is pretty full, maybe 500+.
47' 4-0 Kassem far post header from a Puddefoot corner.
58' 5-0 Potter skilfully nods down a ball over the top and finishes past the keeper.
73' 6-0, Watkins down the middle to calmly shoot into the corner for her hat-trick.
89' 6-1

I wonder if the garden centre could be persuaded to rent out their car park?
New masons lodge?
