Not a great day at the office - we were too frantic, too anxious, couldnt impose ourselves on a poor Posh side a draw was probably the fair result but did us no favours in the race for second spot
Equaliser at the end could be huge. Also gets Kone back in the goals again.
Fingers crossed for a favour from Reading on Tuesday.
Ways things are shaping up starting to think it’s not just Wrexham and us who have a realistic chance of 2nd. Points gap narrowing, and things could look very different in a couple of weeks. Bolton especially look to be hitting form at the right time.
I’ve never been a fan of any team who are set up like we were first half, it was laughable and equally so when we took the midfielders off for attackers.
Change made at half time should have been made after about 10 minutes.
Great start to second half, totally dominant with players playing in the right place. Should have equalised with Kone’s efforts.
YOYOY did he then go to one in midfield and throw loads of attackers on. Instantly lost control, and were very lucky to equalise and even more lucky not to go 2-1 down.
Anyway, that point could be critical come May. We hold onto second and hopefully Dodds has learnt what to do and what not to do going forwards…
Great that we got a draw but can't shake the feeling that today was the day we ended up in League One next season. I'm somehow becoming less and less convinced by Mike Dodds each match - he has the team playing like a mid-table side, all seem unsure what our style is or where to go next with the ball when they get it. Result: go long, waste it, have it come back at us again. It's like early Bloomball - but even then I had the confidence that he was a manager who could turn it around. Dodds does not strike me as a head coach who will. Huge match in seven days - he needs to set the team up with clarity, confidence and consistency. Let's see if he can.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck yes!
Scored six goals in last eight games - worst goal return of any consecutive eight games this season. Kone injury has clearly played a part.
Make that seven
YESS!!
Negative stuff on hold for a bit!
Does he get the equaliser too?
Enough time to steal a win?
Next game Doddsy, can we go for it from the off instead of timidly trying not to lose.
👑
Which is why I try and share the no 2 wins since November.
Get in Kone
Its now become a basketball game, end to end stuff
What about the rest of the added time? What a clown.
Still 2nd. Somehow.
Back to 2nd on GD.
Feels like a massive point.
Got to hope for a favour from Reading midweek, and for Wycombe to sort their shit out ready for next Saturday.
Morley played for Wycombe until 1 January
Phew!
Forget going up now

7th nailed on
Awful.
Yep, and he was very good, but still part of the home struggles in December. If only we could have got him for a reasonable amount.
Absolutely. No-one ever manages to come back from such a deficit as we have now, as we sink to.... 2nd.
OK we aren't playing well, but good grief, to give up completely in this position is pathetic.
Not a great result, but it keeps us 2nd, and does keep it in our own hands with our much better goal difference.
Feeling like a tit now, but happy to be. Might be the point that sends us up.
But our @trevor is the font of all knowledge on here!

Trevor is very much Comic Sans when it comes to football knowledge.
