  • A few people talking about the challenge on Leahy, forgetting Kone has had bookings two games in a row for elbows.

  • I thought Mike Dodds was all about control. I saw about 30 seconds of control from Wycombe in those 49 minutes.

  • It's almost like it's quite hard to control every single game in a competitive level of football.

  • Doddsball is really dull, isn’t it? Patting it around the back very slowly before launching a diagonal.

Hoping for a livelier second half.

  • All a bit disjointed, Reach is attacking well on the left and has McCleary with him , Grimmer is probably the least attacking fullback we have and is completely isolated, Cam isn't really playing right wing, Udoh and Kone have been picked but it doesn't at all look like Dodds really wants two strikers so Kone mostly is playing attacking mid. Just not working.

We aren't miles off and I don't think either of the pen shouts were deserved but we'll need a rearrange or will get nothing here. If we continue the lapses further back we'll get stuffed.

  • The open mouth gum chewing has stopped, which helps, but the standing with both hands in pockets looking slightly bored probably isn't helping things.

  • We’ve used the wrong spreadsheet.

  • Not a good half at all, but that Kone through ball to Udoh shows how little it'll take to get back into this.

Just hope we make the tactical tweak needed.

Wrexham are drawing as it stands, but you know they'll find a winner, be it a 93rd min pen, or Rob Lee's son shoving someone over on the way to heading in.

  • Saw Dan Harvie on crutches in Marlow earlier today. Knee in a brace but he was mobile

  • Not there and sadly not watching or listening.

    We are terrible. Tick!

    Ref is terrible. Tick!

    Formation wrong. Tick!

    Need to make changes. Tick!

    Luton. Tick!

    Gasroom you complete me.

  • At least Bolton are the only team winning in the play-offs group, although you have to factor in a gift for Wrexham at some point.

We desperately need to lift our game as we only created a couple of chances. If control looks slow and ponderous then I think we've nailed it.

  • Time to earn your money, Doddsy.

  • Yep, it's on a knife edge now.

Worst case is we lose this while Wrexham get their latest "tv" decision to win, then they beat Reading away midweek, and from being top 2 for 5months, we'd actually start the game v them next week FOUR points behind!

45mins to go though, quick equaliser and all will look a lot better.

  • Completely baffling tactically.

Humphrey’s is not a wide right player. Every time we come across to Grimmer / Low they have to go back to Taylor as there is no one to pass to.

Dodds has completely over thought this.

Go 4-2-3-1 with McCleary on right m, Udoh on left and Humphrey’s behind Kone.

  • Dan should have put that away, great through ball from Kone. Long way to go yet, but it’s clearly not working and I hope Dodds doesn’t wait until the 80th minute to start making changes. We have to score in the first 5-10 mins otherwise I fear the worst.

  • Think it just needs a bit more bravery, easy option taken far too often. Promotion won't be given to us.

  • Bollocks Wrexham 1-0 up.

  • At least it's not a killer 97th min.

But that's us currently out of the top 2 for the first time in 5months, see how we respond!

  • Thought the ref was signalling a goal there! Doh.

  • No idea what happened there other than three of their defenders rolling around on the floor

  • Still struggling to see what was wrong there, looked a decent goal to me

  • This is a bit better. Getting in their faces at last.

  • One of their players fell over his teammate.

  • This ref is a joke. How on earth was that disallowed?

  • One of their players fell over, then the one grappling Kone tripped up over the other floored boro defender. Odd one.

  • Massive improvement with everyone in the right spot.

no idea why Kone goal was disallowed, they fell over each other 🤬

  • edited March 8

It's always one of those annoyances that defenders seem to be able to grabble and hold attackers to ridiculous levels at corners. Yet the ref is always really keen to blow up for minimal contact from the attacker.
