  • He must surely be regretting it already. I know it was his decision and he would have been under no illusions, but I feel very sorry for him. He's a good man who I'd love to see succeed at the top of the game

  • I know it's a risk for a young coach...and may end in disaster, but (not unlike GA) what a great professional experience gained working under pressure outside your comfort zone. Whatever happens at Lu'on he'll get another League One/two chance.

  • Exactly this. He talked about this in one of his interviews when he first came back. Possibly RTB? He talked about the need to risk failing when he moved to Colchester, about how he made the move alone and some of his peers advised against it etc. There’s no doubt in my mind that he has it in him to turn it around at Luton. The doubt some will have is whether he gets given the time or not. You would imagine that so early into a 3-year contract, he probably will get the time he needs.
