One of the greatest guys in football, you're lucky to have him. Will run himself into the ground for you, incredibly good in the air for his height, and knows where the goal is. Hope he helps you stay up!
Excellent news for all concerned I think. Gaz is giving the Shrews some games to remember and I think he'll keep them up. Wheels will be a useful addition.
Great guy. 100% committed to the team. Will play anywhere. And one of the best headers of a ball we have had in long time. The kind of player who will galvanise a team and get them to stay up.
That love will only grow. He built something incredibly special at Wycombe and I think Shrewsbury is exactly the kind of club where he can do it again.
Malone, I have been lucky enough to play with and against several Wycombe Wanderers players.
Dean Morgan has been the first not to be supportive. We "randoms" are a decent 6 a side team, 3 of us very long term Chairboys.
Dean was playing for a very good team that have generally beaten us over the years, we played exceptionally well and won, being a good athlete/player often goes with being perceived to be a bad loser.
Many Bristol City fans think they'll lose him to the Prem in the summer (assuming they don't go up themselves). They seem to have him tabbed at a value of 8-11 million (quite an oddly specific range).
He's quite young still so you'd expect it would cost someone a bit more than that if he's playing well enough to get a big move and there aren't any contract shenanigans. Think the rumours settled on him leaving us for around 2 which might have been higher but for his clause. Could easily make the same again on a sell on.
I’ve watched Luton twice in a week now. They are terrible. There’s not a manager in the land that could turn this stinking squad around. The blame might be aimed at Bloomfield and at this rate he won’t make the end of the season but they are horrendous.
Aasgaard looked ok, loads of mistakes on Wednesday. Alli looks like a player who is far too raw for a Championship relegation battle. And he didn’t feature today.
I'm sad for Blooms, but it really was not a good job to leave for. More money yes, but a club only going in one direction. He'll be lucky to be in the dugout by the start of next season.
The similarities between this move and Ainsworth’s move to QPR are obvious I guess. If he can keep them up I reckon he will make a go of it. But at this rate he won’t get the chance. They are terrible.

And great anecdote!
Pretty amazing playing against an ex pro, let alone an ex Wycombe player.
Seems odd to have an attitude playing against a bunch of randoms though.
Not a suitable fit for coaching in our Acadamy then!!
I would simply have a poster in our Academy that says 'Be more Darius and less Dean'
Understatement!!
Delighted with this!

Thanks good result for you guys and Wrexham losing. Hope you seal promotion. Even if we go down we are in good hands with Gaz.
Good to hear, he's got plenty to offer at this level for a while yet
I was just wondering today what Wheels was up to next. Another reason to follow Shrewsbury's games/results!
Shrewsbury now remind me of my 'ex-Wycombe' games on football manager!

I hope you stick with Gareth if you do go down. You won't get a harder working manager.

We are VERY lucky to have him here. We had no right to appoint him, fans fully behind him and locally spotted in Town with fans engaging with them.
Well loved already.

Scott Kashket signs for Welling
Anis' Brizzle City up into the playoffs after beating Boro

Should be a nice little payday for us

Aaron Morley scores a pen which puts Bolton 2-1 up at home to Leyton Orient.
Dave Winfield scored for Welling today in a match that also featured Anthony Grant and a second debut for Scott Kashket.
I remember being so gutted when Big Dave opted to sign for Shrewsbury all those years ago.
Malachi Linton scored in a rare win for Weymouth today. Quite a few ex-Wanderers plying their trade in the NLS.

Didn't Blooms sign 8 new players in this window?
