  • So we've not used the new signings, and kept mostly the same line-up presumably for continuity purposes and to keep the team that got us into second.

At the same time, we've decided to change the way we play out, thereby completely defeating the purpose of keeping the continuity.

Sems amateurish. Don't get it at all.

  • "Sponsored by Slim Chicken"

    "Enjoy your milkshakes"

We've GOT to beat this lot.

  • We have a huge height advantage. I would have preferred Vokes getting on the end of some crosses.

  • would have taken off Leahy myself. I think he’s really struggled to have an influence today

  • He'll surely come on later. Probably still 15 to go.

  • Time to get Vokesy and Kodua on. We're clearly not creating enough as we are.

  • Only one sub with 80 minutes past. Sigh.

  • Everyone else winning - a late winner for us here would be absolutely huge.

  • Especially so now we live in the days of 5 permitted subs

  • I don't think we've actually done a thing in the last 12 minutes

  • All too little too late.

  • Baffles me that Vokes was on the bench in the FA Cup when we needed a goal and didn't bring him on. On the bench again today and we haven't brought him on after 88 minutes when we should have. With the squad we have he wouldn't be on the bench if he wasn't match fit. There are lots of other players who could have taken a spot on the bench. Lowry or Westergaard for example.

  • Simons looks promising. Fred seems to have been a few yards behind every ball in his direction.

Vokes not getting long but his goals per minutes is amazing this season.

  • Totally agree on Simons - great range of passing, and would to see what he can do with a start on Tuesday.

  • Hmmm. Not sure at the moment. Still early days for Dodds and Kone is becoming a big miss.

A bit disappointed that they spent a lot of money on the Danish lads that obviously aren’t fit yet but could come good - hopefully before the season ends.

  • A shame after playing so well in the first half

  • It feels like we’re going to bottle it.

  • Well for a head coach that was a pretty clueless performance. If this is what he is capable of we are in trouble

  • So close at the end

Bad day of results, but it's not meant to be easy.

Comfort zone trimmed to a mere 2 points, and must win again soon!

Simons probably comes straight in now. Looks a good passer and mobile.

  • The plan is clearly that promotion isn't a must. It seems to be a case of seeing how MD is, settle him in, then go again.

  • If only we had their sponsor when Wasps were here!

  • Starting to feel a little like the Gormania season with teams sussing us out and stifling us and too many draws.

  • Frustrating approach to that game overall. Whilst we got the equaliser through the ball over the top, after that we never looked a threat using the up and under. Didn't take the opportunity to take a touch and bring the ball down on the deck, which has served us so well to this point this season. Leahy unfortunately the biggest culprit of that in the midfield for me.

We looked far better at the end with Kodua and Simmons playing on the deck, carrying the ball and providing it to feet into the channels to Bez and others.

  • This second half has been incredibly dispiriting. No fire, no intensity, no moments of magic, no intelligence.

Crawley were flooding the middle of defense with players, but we somehow didn't figure out how to get wide and around them. I hate to say it, but we're not looking promotion quality at all, and we haven't since Boxing Day.

  • We look a solid mid table team. Bloomfield’s team not Bloomfield’s tactics. I guess that is what is to be expected really.

I’m always a bit surprised how infections sloppy mistakes are in a team. No one player was worthy of praise or criticism they were all just mneh.

  • We've seirously got to get our act together and get a winning run going. Stockport and Leyton Orient are in flying form and will soon join Wrexham hot on our heels in contention for 2nd.

  • Dreadful game. We’re a long way from the team knocking in 2 for fun every week. Why we’ve gone long ball, God knows.
