I would prefer them to carry on neglecting us to be honest . Wrecks our home attendence and the focus being on B'ham and Holywood keeps the pressure off.
Peterborough away on Saturday March 8 remains a 3pm kick off. Match NOT selected for TV. (It of course should be selected for tv as first game was and very entertaining and there has been recent history between sides but Sky’s loss is regular match day fans’ gain). Get your trains booked!
We should know about Wrexham game at end of next week.
Surely the Wrexham game is an absolute guarantee for TV selection. If so, is that guaranteed to be 12.30, or do they have late kick offs too with the current Sky deal?
Thursday evening (as happened for Wrexham v Brum) would be better than either a Friday evening or Saturday lunchtime. But Saturday lunchtime time is definitely a killjoy.
My bet will be Friday night - @flymofrank is right above that TV companies will have half an eye on the US audience.
I genuinely think that's a chance that this one could sell out, even on a Friday night. We should go all out to create a buzz around "Pack the Park" or something equally cheesy - there'll be loads of our casual fans that'll want to come to this one.
Friday night in the UK is midafternoon in the most of the States tho. If they really had an eye to US audiences the game would kick off about 1am UK time.

Unless we beat Preston or Birmingham beat Newcastle, and then it moves again
Seems like Sky have realised something massive is brewing with us having fairly neglected us with games so far.
The Burton move at least is about as little impact as it could be. 15min moves we can deal with.
Have they announced just that first week in March?
Am hoping they move the Wrexham game to a little earlier, so can do that and then watch the rugby, on an all dayer 🤣
England vs Wales in the football and rugby. Appreciate thats not everyone’s cup of tea…
Think games are going to move week by week now. So will maybe be two weeks till find out about Wrexham game.
Would guess a later time more likely for that one though, for the US audience.
Thanks @wwfc_since_1993

Wrexham - Birmingham played on Monday and Thursday nights, both televised
Both would be annoying kick offs.
On the basis it's a TV guarantee 12.30 is probably the best option then.
wont be Thursday (Wrexham play Tuesday) or Monday (international break).
On the 99.9% chance it's a tv game then I assume we're hoping for this order of preference!
Sat 12.30
Friday 7.45
Sunday anytime!
Friday night ideally
No thanks! Hoping to get to this one but not if it’s a Friday night
Wonder if that's the preference for many. Maybe you youngdems (i.e. Under 40s). The rest of us want to be tucked up in bed by 9ish.
12:30 kickoffs are the work of the devil. Atmosphere for that fixture on a Friday night would be electric.
It's definitely an odd feeling to be done by the usual kick off time.
Travelling to a Friday 7.45pm as an away fan must be a real arsehole too. Not that the tv bods give that a second thought of course.
I remember Southampton fans having a nightmare 8 hour trip to Manchester on a Friday a while back.
Gotta factor in that American audience!

Ruled out due to a Wrexham tue game before hand.

My girls team kick off at 12 on a sat, so Friday night would be great for me and the kids
Saturday at 3 o'clock would be perfect for me
Hope its not Friday night, worst possible outcome for me
Week night games are increasing making my subscription look like a waste of money!
Success comes at a price I suppose.
After a long consideration I ditched mine at Christmas. It was starting to work out at £60 a game - and that’s before travel costs.
No response from the club to my suggestion of a flexible season ticket covering 10 / 12 / 15 games, so their loss is Vipienne’s gain.
One of many short-sighted decisions by the club, not offering a range of ticket options.
As for the Wrexham game, I'll be in Scotland, so the Thursday or Monday suits.
Not a huge fan of all this fixture movement though.
Think Mr Midlander has already explained that it can't be Thursday or Monday.

That could be fun
