Will recruiting so many in such a short space of time affect the overall morale of the squad or will it be used as a kind of ‘stick’ to the the current players to continue to over-perform?
It does feel like we are using ‘cheat mode’ on Champ Manager 04/05 at the present time.
My grandfather supports Wednesday. He sent me a text saying:
"He’s a great guy; he scores bangers, is good at set pieces, delivers pin points crosses, and has solid link-up play. However, he is fairly slow, so it's best to use him as a left wing-back or left-back alongside a left-sided center-back who can cover for his lack of pace when tracking back. He’s a useful squad player because he can play both left back and in central midfield."
Comes over very well in the interview on Wanderers TV. Am I reading too much into his comments about "sometimes these things take time going backwards and forward" suggesting this was a deal we've been working on for a while?

Could well be, unlikely a player of his quality got no offers while on a free , probably settled for less £ than he was asking for 6 months ago.
Looks really good though, wonder if he's played much in midfield, his set pieces and crossing should up the quality in training, both have been lacking a bit recently.
That’s probably how you get best value in a January window. It’s not the buyers window at all, so perhaps the data shows that value comes from signing players who are a tad rustier

It's an interesting pick but there's a lot to be said for a bit of experience as Sonny has shown.
The mixture of youth and experience we have in our squad is really exciting. On paper, this is a great signing.

Possibly holding out for a Championship slot, signed for us when it didn’t materialise?
The main worry on Reach is he hasn’t played since May. Not sure how long it will take him to get up to speed.
We seemed to be signing players with great quality but almost all of them have been out for extended periods and aren’t match fit.
Definitely a slight worry. At least Westy and Andersy are getting amongst it a bit now.
But Reach will surely not be ready until March or so.
