Luton keep coming with increased offers clearly on the prompting of Bloomfield. Is he tarnishing his image of Mr Wycombe? Is he trying to derail our promotion push? Dan Rice tell Luton and Bloomfield to politely go away. Luton even at the end of the season is not Kone’s best option.
His legacy is absolutely not dead and we should very much appreciate and applaud his service to our club but there is a danger , he might be tarnishing that legacy. We have rejected three bids according to the rumours. Is it time for Bloomfield to say to his chairman , time to move on to different targets
Again, I do think it is in the eye of the beholder. For me, he did not want to leave us in an ideal world, but has now taken that same professionalism he had with us for 20+ years to a new employer. Nothing wrong with that.
To tack on to @StrongestTeam's point above, I'd be more upset with the club for selling Kone than for anyone trying to buy him.
Indeed you can't say stop being emotional it's just business with no room for sentiment and then moan about a manager seeing a good way to immediately improve his team.
Its not like Luton have triggered a Blooms negotiated buy him for 12 quid clause.

Or they’ve been asked to help build the market for him ahead of the window closing.
Let’s hope not.
Sky Sports reporting Luton bid rejected £3.5m guaranteed payment and potential £2.5m addons.
Attracting interest from three top-flight leagues, mental
That bid from Luton is borderline insulting
He is going to skip the Champo altogether at this point!
They speak French in the Ivory Coast. They speak French in Belgium
Réveillez-vous, moutons !
They've given up https://x.com/SportsPeteO/status/1884653486211486183
Zut alors!
£3.5 and some add-ons, is not £6 million in my book. No wonder they were rebuffed.
How long have they got to come up with the £10 million?
Yep, that's the least sexiest way possible to get to 6m.
What if it was score 50 championship goals, have Luton top 2, play 100 games for them etc.
All stuff that if he was anywhere near the road to doing so, another club would have long bought him.
We've heard 6m now, so we're automatically demanding 10m upfront.
Luton would be a terrible next move for the lad.
King Kone to an Exeter forward. He might be another great discovery, but can't see the Luton faithful being happy.
Yeah Bloomfield c an do one,his legacy of Mr Wycombe is dead i hope Luton get relegated.

Only dead to people with no loyalty or appreciation for good servants.

He's entitled to try it on, we are entitled to tell him to clear off. Doubtful he is responsible for the individual bid amounts.

I think Bloomfield was dead to some of the posters he is now dead to before he was dead to them.
Maybe he’s just trying to sign a great striker that he knows well?

OOH
This has genuinely come as a surprise. Wow.
Someone to fit in shirt number 28 please.

Hopefully it's what @micra would refer to as a "big ting".
(Tries not to think about Morley in case it's not Morley)
Ooh Caleb Taylor
It’s more than ‘ooh’ it’s a YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
Great to have him back but what does this mean, depth or a departure?
was really hoping for Morley but to be fair Taylor is miles better than Skura
