Yep hopefully we'll be OK by then. I can see us catching Northampton and the rest in there we aren't that worried about. Gareth is doing a grand job. Got everyone positive and that's amazing given how poor we was. Obviously we all have forgotten about that ghost goal he scored ;)
Anyone else you reckon he'd likely look to come back and sign from yourselves?
I’m going to put in a word for Taf here. We’ve been spoilt with Joe Low and Caleb Taylor this season but Taf has been a fantastic defender for us since our Championship season.
He is calmness personified, committed and intelligent. He may not have the pace of other centre backs, but like JJ he makes up for it with his positioning and timing.
Injuries have been his Achilles heel meaning he doesn’t usually have a run of more than 7 or 8 games without a strain or issue of some kind, but when he come back in the team he’s straight back on it.
He’ll have a positive impact on your dressing room and can help pull you out the mire.
Brandon Hanlan would be a great shout for Shrewsbury, and give him a chance to play regularly. Even if you think he can make the grade with us, minutes are going to be at a premium with Kone, Udoh, McCleary, Kodua, Fred and Lubala involved - and Sadlier is still going to be back too!
Are you related to Sadlier? or get a bonus from his agent every time you mention him? lol I got into a conversation about him at an Irish wedding, a guy knew him from his days playing over there. Looking forward to his return!!
Probably distantly, seeing as my Dad's side of the family are Irish!
I think we have missed a left threat massively. We make do at times by putting strikers out there (Udoh, Lubala), but the left will improve once Sads is back (or once we realize we can put Fred back that side).
Scandalous comments about Sadlier aside (who is a Blooms signing anyway), it would be fun if Gaz did "get the band back together" at Salop as much as possible.
Gape & Taffs would appear obvious, David Wheeler would be a fantastic addition too (it's hard to see how he would get a look-in with us).
I'll say keep Hanlan for @eric_plant, though I do think he is set to struggle for minutes.
Who else? Grimsby in with a shout of playoffs, so can't see them releasing Curtis Thompson. A pity Alex Samuel has a severe injury, as he could win the Shrews some freekicks with his awkward backside in the channels. Anthony Stewart probably not at the right level any more, sadly.
But then there is the one and only...Nick Freeman!
Genuinely hoping Taffs and Wheels follow him there. Both of them could make a huge difference too, and it would be nice seeing familiar faces around Gaz!

A month contract. Signing for the rest of the season. 👍

Someone suggested Vokes, that a goer?
Takeover hopefully incoming at some stage!
Vokesy started the season well with a couple of goals, but then had a bad injury, still in August I believe, and that's basically been it until now.
While he could definitely still have a role to play for us, it'll probably be in cameos and maybe learning the ropes to be a coach.
Not sure he could come in for you and be the gamechanger you need.
Wheeler barely seems to get a look in for us now, he's a "young" 34 and could service multiple positions for you. Definitely an Ainsworth favourite.
Taff to Shrewsbury is probably good business all round, especially if you don't need 90 minutes every week form him.
Can't see Vokes leaving though.
I have trademarked “Taff? I’ve seen milk turn quicker”
fyi @SHREWSBURYFan1886 sadly Taff is made of glass.

I don’t think anyone doubts Taff’s ability. That’s part of the frustration.
So to summarise he is slow and gets injured but apart from that would be a great signing?
He also has (had?) a YouTube channel which might give you some insight into his character.

Nope, Brandon is a vital member of the squad. He's got a bit part to play second half of the season

I reckon it would make more sense for Sadlier to go there...
Oooh, cheeky!

Gape confirmed at Shrewsbury
Brilliant news all round! That brings a smile to the face for sure!
Hopefully, he scores the goal that keeps them up!
Definitely - hoping he can get a good run of games there and they stay up
