I don't think it will be Norgaard, no evidence other than I think it would of been done or close to being done by now.
Have a look what's available, even if it takes a week or two and get the best available option.
I'd love Schumacher here, played a big part at Plymouth when Lowe was there. Then done very well when he took them over and won the league in the process. Took a risk going to Stoke but his first job was keep them up which he did and then a bad result at Oxford this season and Walters couldn't wait to get his own man in and look at how that turned out.
Think he's similar to Bloomfield, plays the right way and I believe it would be a real coup to get him.
I think however it will be some unexpected left field appointment of someone with a significant prior involvement in youth level/academy (inc U21) management as that seems to fit the stated direction of travel/key driver of the "ownership team".

An interesting point there @Shev ..... one I probably wouldn't have considered.... but makes sense.
I'm very tired and need to go to bed though as I must confess it took me 3 or 4 attempts at reading through to understand what you were meaning 🤣🤣
A week ago Rob Edwards was still Luton manager. There was no job for Matt to go to at that point.
If it is Claus Norgaard then here is a sit down interview getting to know him that some might find interesting.

I wonder if we'll meet the release clause for Brentford to release Claus
I like what you did there
Just as the season was going so well Bang Fffffing bang
I see Brentford’s “Mr Brentford” mentioned in that interview.
Brentford are so lucky to have Benham, a genuine life long fan at the helm who has worked wonders with the club.
That's why Blooms has gone! Wants to earn more money so he can buy Wycombe Wanderers and become the real Mr Wycombe
Bring him home to Buckinghamshire!!
Not the best review of Norgaard here, if he is the man...
Is this rumour just people putting 2 (we've signed some Danes) + 2 (we like data) together or is there actually some strength to it?

I too would love to see Schumacher in the job.

Quite surprised to wake up and see no movement on this at all.
