The next day: "After a long and thorough search we are hiring the Danish bloke from Brentford to be our manager - and no, we don't know why the date on his Guest Pass lanyard says August 2024."
If we hear about an "interviewing process" and then appoint someone who has been in a job anytime this last few months it blows the theory out the war---ahhh
Wycombe to trigger an ESC for second time to bring in Westergaard. So probably waiting on paperwork to be approved before they announce him as assume he would have passed his medical today with flying colours…

And I think we can mould him into the shape of the team
Middle name ‘Hee’
4pm announce Bloomy has left
4.01pm announce an all time record signing.

We will see.

Yes. Because notice periods don't exist.
They don't in football, do they?
They often do if you're not the manager or the players.
Let's see who we get then we can open up a new can of conspiracy 😋
Yeah, I meant at a playing level, sorry. They can be extremely long 'behind the scenes'.

Depends if we want to pay for him. Much more of a compo culture rather than asking permission nicely and waiting for the right time.
Does this mean we can’t sign any more non-UK players?
According to the article, that is correct. Unless we get promoted, or clear one of our allotted slots.
Or presumably bought someone who qualifies for a work permit in their own right
Makes me worried about Kone's position in the squad. I'm guessing he's got an ESC slot?
I thought You only need to use an ESC slot if they don't have a work permit.
I'd have thought Kone would be fine
May be wrong on this but think Kone is a British citizen through naturalisation.
I think you are correct here, ESC is only applied for if work permit status is not met.
Lloyd Jones started today....and been carded
You really don't like not knowing stuff do you?
Which must make things very tricky
I didn't know Needham Market was in Suffolk with an Ipswich postcode. Is that Kone's lift to training every day gone, with a diversion to Luton?
