That really is a shocking forum set up. Kudos to @drcongo in comparison.
Reading that post I'm not sure if ActonHatter is actually ITK or whether they're just stating that odds of 1/10 suggest it should be a done deal?
Either way, I suspect we'll know before this Saturday's game.
There's been some hyperbole (from myself included) in the Rumour Mill thread on how losing certain players would mean the end of our promotion chances, but I 100% believe if Blooms was to leave that would be it for this season.
If he goes and we get some retread who’s been around the lower leagues for years then it will be a dark day. The Scandi Klopp ready to take English football by storm with a smart suit and a spreadsheet. Who knows?
If the rumours prove to be true I will lose all faith in the new regime. Data will have killed the culture and traditions which we have all come to love and enjoy, for good or ill.
Bloomfield would be accepting a job in a division above, with a far bigger fanbase, a new stadium on the way, (presumably) a nice bump to his pay packet, a better commute, a bigger budget, and a bigger challenge - and he clearly relishes a challenge. I'm not sure how much of this we can blame on the 'new regime'...
Bloomfield isn’t stupid or naive, our current regime is the same set up as the majority of clubs at least in the top 2 divisions. Luton themselves have just sold a multi-million pound striker when they don’t have a manager in place so clearly someone is calling the transfer shots there too that isn’t the manager.
Blooms may go because he wants to manage Luton and/or manage in the Championship. Or possibly because he doesn’t feel wanted enough by the current regime. I wouldn’t blame him if any of those things are true, but he won’t be leaving because of “data” or because he’s not making decisions on transfers.
If dehumanising the club culture is the price, I couldn’t care less whether or not we are promoted. It’s been an absolute delight to see Mr Wycombe maintaining traditional values and enjoying such success in management after a twenty year playing career of total allegiance to this great football club.
To see him driven out, if it comes to that, would be one of the worst experiences imaginable in a very long life. I am actually in tears as I write this.
More than a bit of wishful thinking here, but Blooms didn’t look like a guy who was on his way out after Friday’s win. And even with the rumored tension between him and the owners, I’d like to think the club still means enough to him not to leave us when we’ve got a shot at promotion.
“It’s obviously flattering as you get don’t linked to other jobs if you’re doing poorly and it is lovely to be spoken about, but nothing is going to take my eye off the ball here. I’m very passionate about my job and I have given this club everything over 21-and-a-bit years and I will continue to do that.”
It should be time for him to be able to take delight in his amazing achievement and for his success to be acknowledged and openly recognised by the new powers that be. Of course it’s not all about data. Matt is well up with the importance of that but there is a lot more than that to him.
MB: Just wanted to know how leaving a club where you were worshipped and had a job for life to go to a Championship club where you were always three games away from the sack worked out for you.
GA: Great. It was brilliant. Why do you ask?
MB: No reason. Cheers, ta

If Blooms decides to accept a new job on better wages, with a much higher wage budget, a new 25,000 seater stadium in the offing and a larger supporter level, why would he be being "driven out"?

wycombe or luton end you hearing this from?
Link?
be warned, their forum is an abomination. even if we were the worst team in the EFL, we'd still have the best forum. we are spoilt here!

Are the noises most of our fans browning themselves?

Just the old style like gasroom 1. At the time it felt fine. Now it feels mad to have to click into every single message!
Odds are so low because Viborg stuck a shitload of money they never expected to have on last night.
Apparently the part owners of Viborg also own Notts County. So we may be about to inadvertently boost their promotion credentials.

Sandi Toksvig more like...
more likely to get a PE teacher with a degree in computer science than a Warnock/Bruce/Holloway type aren't we?
Yeah, you'd think some Premier League U23's manager than anyone who's had a top job before. Although, I'd like Rob Elliot, if it all does happen

Mind’s gone blank.
Thanks Eric!
In all honesty, will anyone care if we get promoted and establish ourselves as a Championship club?
Im not so sure.

Just hope, if he goes, that he doesn't become a patsy for Luton if they do get relegated.
I hope he doesn't, but perhaps it is time for the club legend to spread his wings again...

The rumour of tension exists mainly on the gasroom.

It depends on who the chauffeur is?
