Not sure exactly how recruitment works at Luton but they have a "Chief Recruitment Officer". Given he does mainstream interviews about transfer activity (such as https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5yvgg3dlego) it suggests he calls the shots. To me this suggests that Bloomfield is going to the wrong club if the speculation that he's leaving because he doesn't like not having control of transfers is to be believed.
What if his managerial ambitions were to take this club that he loves and whose supporters love him further then they had ever been before?
But those ambitions were effectively ended by new owners who don't want him to be manager?
You can decry emotion in football all you like. Football is nothing without emotion. We had a unique opportunity to achieve something remarkable with one of our own at the helm. This will "never" come about again. Ever.
The owners have every right to run the club as they see fit. But they need to expect a reaction from fans if things go awry on the pitch.
The sad thing is, I'm not sure they'd be overly concerned if they did. I've never heard Dan Rice talk about the team, or how we're doing.
The first press conference after Matt's departure will probably be a slide show about the academy.
I tell you what is really interesting, Alan Parry hasn't once got involved in the discussion about Matt Bloomfield being ushered out of the exit door by the new owners.
I would suggest that this is a) because it is true, and b) because he agrees with a lot of us
Although Gaz would have to add Shrewsburys ground to Sheff Utds as absolute no go's in the future and engineer a few "colds" to swerve those fixture if and when we play there.
Personally I would sacrifice promotion over the club losing it's identity. When Dan came in he said they wanted to keep the club ethos and bought into what it meant to be Wycombe. Not locking in Mr Wycombe and doing everything you can to keep him happy is a big mistake in my opinion. I can't believe for a minute that Luton are at this moment in time a more attractive proposition than we are given the resources and the incredible changes.
I'm hanging onto the thought that he didn't take training as he is enjoying some roll mops with our new signing.
Also we are playing Beaconsfield in the Berks and Bucks cup tomorrow night and the team is going to be made up of youth players and that Sam Grace is going to manage the team.

Announce O'Neill and Roy Keane as assistant until the end of the season.
Not really, although Randers seem to be performing above themselves in the Superliga. I'm sure their boss can be tempted...
I doubt it, that’s why he has 3 sons
“Computer, what does the data say about Matt Bloomfield’s replacement?”
“Computer says No”
At least we know Wycombe has always been an attractive proposition for managers anyway. Being top 2 in league 1 will only help that.
But any disruption now can only be bad. Just hopefully not as bad as the Gaz to Bloomfield transition.

I'm not - I'm just trying to look at it objectively
🙃😆
I think he just doesn’t like Data Dan sacking someone he appointed without telling him.

Luton forum are up in arms because they want Steve Cooper...not quite sure how likely that one is!
Wayne Rooney Incoming.
Claus Norgaard - Brentford assistant manager.
A slide show?
It'll be a fully polished video experience...
New manager bounce!
I just asked chat gbt AI who will succeed Bloomfield if he leaves....
1) Gareth Ainsworth
2) Richard Dobson
3) Paul Tisdale
4) Neil Harris
...... 🤔🤣🤷♂️
What did chat gpt say? Hopefully Bielsa.
If it’s true.
Claus in the house please.
That'd be worth it just to see some gasroom buttocks flapping

Jose Mourinho did say he wanted to come back to England… 😂
Like the sound of numbers 1 and 2.

Or, c) he's going to be the new Manager! This is a feeble joke @Malone not a "dig".
I did think Glass Half-full has been somewhat quiet of late.
Though rumours now circulating on Twitter that it was a day off for us anyway and there was no training at all at Harlington so who knows...

I know, "captain obvious", but...what an absolutely barmy few weeks it's been in our club's history.

We just need Mr P to hang about in some toilets around match days to find out net legend.
Who needs data?
Or he doesn't live on here all day like a lot of us?
Thomas Müller til the end of the season
Pete O’Rourke has just tweeted about it too. Yikes.
