Shrewsbury have an unfortunate day, losing just 1-0 away to a red hot Orient while Rovers and Northampton stretch the gap back up to 8 points with wins of their own.
Salop have a very tough January schedule, and need to sneak a win or two to stay in touch. Their schedule:
Huddersfield (H)
Wrexham (H)
Charlton (A)
Stockport (A)
Mansfield (H)
Rotherham (A)
Reading (A)
Bolton (H)
Any wins they can get would benefit us too, so fingers crossed they can kick on!
Hartridge has taken quite some flak on today’s matchday thread, but I suspect Swindon fans will be even less enamoured with their own Ryan Delaney, based on this beautiful o.g.:
Luton are just two points above the drop zone, with 3 of the 4 teams below them having played at least one game less. Next managerial casualty you have to assume.
West Ham jump on the managerial merry go round, how long will Potter last given that according to my West Ham supporting mates the problem is the ownership (Sullivan & Gold in particular) not the managers...
West Ham spent £130m in the summer buying players Lopetegui wanted. Perhaps that highlights why managers should not have overall control over signing players.

Yep hopefully today isn't the day it turns against them, as it looked so positive before kick off.
Really hope they can get points in those next 2!!
Ethan Nwaneri is going to be some player if Arsenal look after him properly.
That was a lovely goal
Southampton thumped at home by Brentford and currently tracking to equal Derby's record of 11 pts 😬

I give you Josh Scowen @Wendoverman 😊
Josh is too nice to be League 1 Keano @EwanHoosaami he never shouts at his own players or fights with goalies ( as far as I know.)
Morgan Gibbs-White gives Forest the lead at Forest after being abused from the get-go. Funny.

They all seem to want Edwards out as 3CR went on and on and on about on Saturday until they moved onto MK Dons....
Luton fan I know has been saying for months that Edwards just looks well and truly drained by it all. Seems only a matter of time.
He looks knackered rather than Ange angry.
He did look spent when the QPR winner went in last night. It was rotten luck but you can’t have bad luck in all 20-something matches surely.
The latest deluded entry in Mikel Arteta's book of excuses https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cdek10j3rjeo
He is absolutely mad.
Our problem was that there was too much air in Jhon Duran, and he went flying.

A fair point there
Keep them up...spend big in summer...struggle a bit...get the boot in January...rinse and repeat?
(I think Potter is good so he may buck the trend and be fighting Forest for the title next term 😁)
