  • What lead you there?

There is a good pub just round the corner if you fancy a sharpener.

  • when I went there I found the labelling of exhibits unclear.

2b or not 2b, that was the question.

  • I sympathise with you over the mutilation of English but I'm not into policing other people's language: unless they're judging others. So watch out. 😉

  • Thumbs up to that. Goodwill to all men and all that. But not forgetting the women either of course.. It’s disappointing that there appear to be so few of them posting on here but they’re probably clandestinely keeping an eye on us.

  • I referred elsewhere to Tyreece Campbell’s early strike for Charlton yesterday.

The following paragraph is taken from his Wikipedia entry. It tickled me. It also included an example of the correct use of whom.

  • Reading Evatt’s summary of Bolton’s defeat to Barnsley, he made reference to the fact that they have a number of players coming back from injury and Aaron Morley to strengthen the team. I sincerely hope he is just spouting as usual.

  • If Morley goes back his confidence will get ground down by that manager.

  • Well after our performance yesterday and other recent ones if I were Aaron I’d make it perfectly clear to both your owners and ours that he doesn’t want to come back because even he’d struggle under Evatt’s system, that’s assuming he got a start of course, just as he did before because the only thing that’s changed is that it’s got worse. If we lost at home to Lincoln on Sunday of which there’s every chance, I genuinely can’t see Sharon sticking with him, despite the recent statement. Gates are falling quickly, fans even picketed outside the main entrance after yesterday’s game to get him gone so the pressure is building. We’ve blown it this year the footballs dire and getting worse but AM can still succeed if he stays there so much as I’d love him back I genuinely hope you can complete a deal and the lad stays with you and leads you to promotion.

  • Morley is Bolton's player. If the intention was to loan him out to get minutes to get him firing for their first team, then they've done that successfully. Bolton sent out a player worth nothing to them, and now have a £500k player on their books. Fantastic for them if you ask me.

Put the shoe on the other foot, if Jack Young, for example, started ripping up trees on loan - we would have him back in our team!

  • Despite it potentially being one of Morley’s last games, look at his reaction to our third goal. Totally committed to our cause. Total class.
