I think Blooms (like GA) will see staying whatever the ups and downs as a way of learning his trade. If we are pushing for success every year and not fighting relegation, his job is pretty safe, and it would take a massive offer to tempt him away. Also like GA, he's not Rooney or Lampard...one bad high profile move could cost him.
(The Rev is probably the exception to that rule...)
So going back the logic of some other posters, Stockport should just leave Barry out of the squad for the next 3 games before his return to Villa, considering he has no future with them! Huddersfield and Birmingham both within their next 3, two big games before he leaves.

I’d be surprised if any club in the top two divisions AREN’T interested in Richard Kone. Whether they have the seven figures needed to sign him (and I’m told Wycombe are not prepared to sell unless there is an outrageous offer) is another story.
Kone is far from the finished article, but everyone knows that. His value lies in his potential. If AAH2.0 went for £2m then Kone has to be at least £3.5m. Arguably £5m given we’re not far off clinching automatic promotion. I don’t think I’m being exaggerative either.

Nothing I've read into the owner and future plans, or Rich's journey suggest we need to sell him now for a quick buck or let him go for his development.
He's had an odd but brilliant year, going from unknown to hot prospect to prolific genius and has then probably stalled a little in the last couple of weeks as have we compared to the wonderful start, but the season has a long way to run and he's still very young.
Kone's record suggests he could probably score at all levels- indeed he scored against Villa suggesting he may be able to step up to the Premier league.
His hold play has improved immeasurably and no doubt most Championship teams would at least like him in their squads now.
Selling him would severely damage promotion hopes- so he will command a big fee, although I'm sure a clause was inserted when he signed the new contract.

At this time it’s less than 12 months of professional football and he’s turned into a quick raw striker into a player with awareness and ability to hold up and link others into the game. If this curve continues at this pace don’t worry about Luton it will be Barca
If Stansfield was purchased by Birmingham for supposedly £15M with a good scoring record last season in the Championship for a relegated team then Kone who has scored at a similar rate to him this season must be worth a third of that fee at the same age.
Kone has not had the benefit of 10 years plus in an academy, he arguably could improve at a faster rate than Stansfield
When you factor in wages - the on the book version and the actual, and any other City "methods" going on, i'd wager the Haaland cost is way higher overall.

I think Morley knows he will be spending the rest of the season at Wycombe despite Evatt’s best attempts to drive up the amount Wycombe pay for him.
It is testimony to the job Blooms has done when we see postings how being promoted to Championship helps to get him to stay.
I really hope the Ownership Group offers Matt a contract extension or whatever, that would be perfect recognition.
99% of all new owners would have wanted to sack him just to get their own man in.

Stansfield scored goals in the championship. That gets the fee up.
If we could manage to go up, and some of our players perform well there, then the fees would skyrocket.
