Aah, if that’s Reading gaol behind him I see the relevance of your post but I didn’t think Oscar looked like that. I’ll get to the bottom of it eventually.

  • Yes, As Norman Stanley Fletcher.

  • Villa confirmed they are recalling Barry from Stockport ....massive blow for them

  • I think Blooms (like GA) will see staying whatever the ups and downs as a way of learning his trade. If we are pushing for success every year and not fighting relegation, his job is pretty safe, and it would take a massive offer to tempt him away. Also like GA, he's not Rooney or Lampard...one bad high profile move could cost him.

(The Rev is probably the exception to that rule...)

  • So going back the logic of some other posters, Stockport should just leave Barry out of the squad for the next 3 games before his return to Villa, considering he has no future with them! Huddersfield and Birmingham both within their next 3, two big games before he leaves.

  • Different situation with Barry, as it's unlikely he'll be playing in League 1 again if loaned out. Probably he'll go to a Championship club, so no conflict of interests.

Anyway, with regards Morley, obviously I'd love to see him here for the rest of the season and beyond. If not, then I trust Blooms to make the right decision by him. Just a personal opinion that if he knew he was going to be playing for Bolton in a week's time, his motivation for trips to Stevenage and Charlton may understandably not be that high. I also appreciate mine appears to be a very minority view!

  • Disagree there @Wycombe85

As both players have had a fantastic first half of the season and certainly in Aaron's case seem to be an excellent character with a good bond with the club and players...I would be very surprised if they are not motivated to end their loans (if they are ending) on a high note.

I think Morley will be well up for it.

  • I have a simple solution: break into Ian Evatt's office and flip his calendar back to September. By the time he thinks it is January again, Morley will have got us promoted!

  • I think Morley knows he will be spending the rest of the season at Wycombe despite Evatt’s best attempts to drive up the amount Wycombe pay for him.

  • It is testimony to the job Blooms has done when we see postings how being promoted to Championship helps to get him to stay.

I really hope the Ownership Group offers Matt a contract extension or whatever, that would be perfect recognition.

99% of all new owners would have wanted to sack him just to get their own man in.

Fair play to them for sticking with Matt and please god, supporting him.

It must be baffling to find exactly the right person for the job right in front of your nose.

Thank you to the Ownership Group and Happy Christmas to every poster, be they home or away.

The gasroom is fabulous, thank you to Dr. Congo and team.
