No Scowen on bench which is mildly disappointing. Maybe back for the Bolton game. Think I would have started Udoh today. Not sure I want to see Fred away to an Ainsworth side. Still think it’s an excellent lineup.
Christ, how's Leahy even making the squad. Absolutely dreadful overrated player, scores the occasional freekick, misses loads of pens and can't take a corner. Adds Absolutely nothing else. Bakingson was fabulous last week.
I think if we go two up he might be wanting to give Harvie some rest ahead of a tough winter schedule. Hartridge should arguably suit an attritional final 20 mins if we’re ahead
If Grimmer is out Leahy has to start as Bloomfield always uses one of the three as captain. More worrying is Grimmer not making the squad. If that's a long term injury and Scowen is not soon back at full fitness we might have to prepare ourselves for an extended run in the side for Leahy. Let's just hope we don't end up relying on a penalty to win...
Not sure why people are shocked Leahy is starting. He may not be as easy on the eye as some of our other midfielders, but he provides good cover for the defence, scores goals and sets up goals. Bakinson has done well recently, but it's a 50/50 call between the 2 of them in my opinion.

Starting; Ravizzoli, Harvie, Leahy (c), Low, Humphreys, Kone, Morley, Lubala, Pattenden, Taylor, Onyedinma.
Subs: George, Hartridge, Wheeler, Butcher, Udoh, McCleary, Bakinson.
why is leahy starting ? and he has been captain , very worried about our line up today...no Grimmer in squad either...hope I am proved wrong
No Bishop - I think that settles that. And understandably so.

I'd have started Bakinson over Leahy, but extremely weird to be "worried" about that lineup. Pattenden has been superb this season.
I sense we'll get a lot of set-piece opportunities today - perhaps that's part of the thinking behind Leahy's inclusion.
Gaz will target Pattenden with diagonals all afternoon. Bit concerned about that.

more so about the bench....Hartridge and Wheeler as options..also is Hanlan injured ?
The main debate on the Shrewsbury forum (as they don't expect to win) is whether they should boo Udoh or not.
Hanlan went off injured on Tuesday, so probably, yes. All the same, I think both Udoh and McCleary are much better options than Hanlan.
Interesting that Hartridge comes back onto the bench from seemingly nowhere, over Taf and Skura.
Lineup looks strong as always these days though.
Always going to be a debate about which of the 3 mid options would play with Scowen out.
I've got no problem with Lubala starting, but seeing as it's against his old team I'd probably have gone with Udoh, he'll want to prove a point.
I see* a 9 minute second half hat trick from Udoh off the bench this afternoon…
*Obviously I don’t

Afternoon all! Sadly, there is no Phil on commentary today, instead it will be Sam and the team from BBC 3CR on WTV.
Incredible confidence if that is being factored in!
I can't get over that 4 games in 9 days run Jan 1 onwards. At least they're at home I suppose.
Could be a lot worse if 2 of them were aways 3hours away.
Hoping @bluntphil is not unwell?

I’d thumb this up three times if I could
Why would you automatically talk about a long term injury, rather than just a little 1 game out niggle?
And Leahy has scored most of his pens hasn't he? Just missed the last 2 maybe?
Also Leo Castledine is the son of former Wycombe Wanderers super star Stewart Castledine.
I believe he has scored 7 out of 10 penalties he’s taken for us in league 1 and he had a 100% record from the spot with Shrewsbury.
Kone is our penalty taker now anyway surely
Any Greeks still in Shrewsbury after Thursday night for those going today.
I did wonder if we might see a few in the away or home end today.
Tell him he's got shit shoes, the shit shoes bastard.

Don't worry, the other day someone on here stated as fact that he'll be starting against Bolton.
Not sure the fella with the mic is in any place to start talking about crap shoes.
I'd advise the Rav bashers to keep a close eye on him in possession today. His becoming a third CB is what allows Harvie to push up. He's integral.
