From a brief look through the more eloquent corners of football social media, a fair few Millwall fans cited perceived differences in the outlooks of the board and DoF wanting to buy promising young players, blood them in and sell them on compared to Harris's instinct to get the best players in for the immediate short term (he is judged on results after all).
It may well be the case that the Millwall board and DoF feel someone like Bloomfield would be preferable to Robins to coach players they identify and bring in rather the having to take into consideration the manager's own personal career needing results yesterday to justify their place on the merry-go-round.
Or some wag is just sticking a tenner on Bloomfield whenever a new job comes up and sitting back and watch the reaction of us on here when he's favourite for yet another job.
I must admit, I actually enjoy Blooms being linked with other jobs. Of course partly because it means we are doing well, but mainly because he is such a top bloke that it is just so good to see him gaining recognition, and having the promise of a managerial career that may well take him to at least the Championship at some point (with the family security that would bring).
I think you mean nincompoop. Many people born in the eighties take offence at being described as a Muppet. Just last week I called my partner 'Miss Piggy' and she hasn't spoken to me since.

Millwall’s ‘thicko’ fans with Bloomfield bleating on about XG in interviews. A match made in heaven.
Just upholding tradition 😉
He hasn't even been sacked - he's stepping down after their next game. Never seen that mid-season before.
Jon Brady did something similar only last week at Northampton.
Here we go
1/2 favourite with Bet Victor!
Bloody hell. He really is. I'm sure the Millwall fans would take Mr Rainbow Laces straight to their hearts.
Hopefully it's just @micra investing his pension pushing the odds so low!
Bloody hell, I didn't know the Gasroom had so much clout. I was joking, bookies!
I hope it's not his health again.
Now 1/4
What's that I can hear? Oh, it's David Moyes shouting HOW AM I 20/1 COMPARED TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That moment when you remember that Blooms managed Colchester, and every other club looks like a 10/10 stunner now. 😂
No way is he going - he is just the manager du jour for oddsmakers with his recently elevated profile.
We have a game in 2 hours time. If he's not there then I'm going balls in at the bookies.
He’s WAY too professional for that
With Mark Robins available for no compo, I would be surprised if Blooms is the first real port of call for any new Champo jobs for a while.
It will all end tit's up!

Are you Nathan Ashton in disguise?
Thankfully Bermondsey only seems to be about 10 minutes quicker than Harlington, from Felixstowe.
Just realized Blooms was favourite for Luton without them even sacking Edwards!
Next Luton Town Manager Odds: Matt Bloomfield New Favourite
Definitely the go-to target now.
Do you reckon he fancies relocating to Bolivia?

I don't think he is leaving yet, so not worried.
He's not going to Millwall. @NiceCarrots said he was going to Cov.
If he's odds on, does that mean some muppet has put a silly amount on him?
Hes obviously going anywhere for the time being.... these threads are getting tedious.
It's not even funny anymore

She's probably hoping for more Kermitment from you
Her nose is bigger than Gonzo's but I've not told her. And hopefully she doesn't read the gasroom
