West Brom have conceded just 6 goals in their past 11 games, so I am hoping they recognize that their issue is going forward, and that Caleb Taylor will not profit them at all!
Taff has to be on borrowed time now. He is fit but not near a starting place. Hartridge for whatever reason has yet to prove himself. I hope we keep Taylor as he is certainly a good pairing with Low (although he is my Roger Johnson and Low is my Mike Williamson imho).
On 24 September 2024, Swinkels made his first appearance for the senior Aston Villa team for the first time since 2021 during a 2–1 away victory against Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Cup.[11]
Hey Bossh, I really like thish shtadium. Any chance I can shtay here on a loan for the resht of the sheashon?
Based purely on transfer history between Wycombe and Bolton over the past year, I don't think they will want another crocked Wycombe defender on their payroll.
Without wanting to sound harsh they would be mad. Although having a centre half capable of fulfilling half a season to match the one they have would make sense.
No way we should be letting Taf go in my opinion. If he stays fit for the rest of the season he will be getting plenty of game time especially if Low or Taylor either leave or sustain an injury. In fact a fit and firing Taf holds his own with Taylor, who is excellent. With Skura looking good too we are well covered in central defence.
I like to image a fit, but not actually in the team, Taff keeps Taylor & Low on top of their game to retain the shirt.
The problem starts when Taff actually has to play a game and gets injured, then the pressure is off Taylor & Low as Skura isn't going to displace either in the starting 11.
Skura is a very decent prospect and has been excellent this season when called upon. We will have to see what happens in January but I’m more than happy to have him as an understudy ahead of Taff.

West Brom have had some fairly major defensive issues the last couple of months, hopefully easing off this month.
if it doesn’t ease off then he could easily get recalled in four weeks.
That’s a very good point. I hadn’t checked anything about him to be honest.

Taylor is very good, he shows signs of being an exceptional player. He’s not ready for the pressure of a West Brom team in the Championship
I think he is more than ready to play for West Brom in the Championship. I guess we will see what happens in January.
This one looks likely...

Sounds like that might signal a move away for Taff or possibly Hartridge…or a recall for Taylor.
He played LCB in the Carabao Cup game
He won’t play at this rate!

That's how it all started.
It would be the second season in a row we’ve brought in a Dutch defender on loan in the winter transfer window
It's to the massive credit of Low and Taylor that Lonwijk has barely been mentioned for months.
Good move. I do think Tafa will be off in January.
Brilliant point!
Sil Swinkels sounds like an gut ailment horses get if they eat too much fresh grass
Could there possibly be a deal with Taff + money to Bolton for Morley? 🤷♂️

I think Ryan Tafazolli might be heading for the New Meadow.
I’m not so sure that Boutique is Taf’s cup of tea (never been but it got 4.3/5 on Google, Shrewsbury’s best nightclub it seems).
I hope not as he is a solid player when on the field and always happy to talk to fans and sometimes stand with them when not playing. Also the king of mind games https://www.tiktok.com/@risingballers/video/7079843636636028166?lang=en

Taf has missed 65 out of a possible 203 league games since signing, and I think it's fair to say that's mostly down to injury.
Anecdotally, it feels like much more than that.
I thought so too, but being unavailable for a third of your team's games is pretty poor.
@Mandown ’if’ - enough said
A consistently fit Taff and a consistently fit Forino make it into pretty much every league 1 team starting line up. Sadly neither exist.
