Yes, blocked by a defender on the line clearly ought to be recorded on target. However so should a shot blocked on the edge of the penalty area, if it's trajectory was towards goal, but it seems to me they often aren't.
Fortunately for us the important stat is that Kone has scored 9 - and they always count.
Having watched the interview I'm 99% sure he says "I think in Kone they have a very dangerous player"... He does also say "they're very good at what they do" though. Sound the klaxon!
An attempted curling shot blocked on the edge of the box. Starts outside the line of the post but would've nestled in the top corner. On or off target??!
My devotion to all things Gasroom ensured that I would plough my way through this mammoth postscript to the headline discussion - Matchday Thread - Lincoln City. I am now exhausted and none the wiser. Well, to be absolutely fair and accurate, very little wiser.
In the days when I was able to attend matches on a regular basis (a few seasons ago now) I used to thoroughly enjoy talking football in the Woodland Lounge pre match, to some extent during the match and, best of all, afterwards in the Woodland or the Caledonian. Data, other than the most basic, never entered the conversation.
However, I was fascinated to see this on Facebook.
Thought I'd pop in to congratulate you on the good results thus far which see you top of the tree. 4 points clear with a game in hand.
Will we see you go up? Still a long way to go. Your thoughts?
We're pretty much as midtable as it gets and it's better than most of us had hoped. 21st or better was our wish for this season. Looks like we'll get "better". It can still go South as there's 30 more games to go but I'm happy enough with the results thus far.
Good luck and, who knows, next season could see us both in the SBC.

And now my brain hurts

Technically, neither
But that's how Harvie is going to score our first goal tonight
Not to mention Vokes. Who seemed, at least in my dimming memory, to make a bit of habit of it.
Leave him alone.

if we don't get 100 + points, I'm going to tear up my virtual season ticket and throw it on the pitch.
The game has well and truly gone when your average punter doesn't have any physical season ticket paraphernalia to chuck symbolically at the dugout.
Someone must have chucked a phone by now
