10 years. Quit IT 25 years ago, started a business giving IT and Business English courses at various companies. Gave a sharepoint course to a group of lecturers at a group of colleges and got invited to teach English and Computer Science at a Sports College in Haarlem. The guy who did the Football Trainer courses asked if I had any contacts at an English club as he wanted to take the UEFA Candidates for a week's practical at a club. I got us into Derby, twice a year. Coaching the Academy Monday to Thursday and working with the 1st team on the Friday. Did my teaching degree part time while working. Did that for 3 years. Reorganisation saw me out of a job and I did 10 years at a secondary school before retiring at 60.
Always been a Rams fan so you can imagine how brilliant getting to coach there was.

Prophetic words
I believe this is youth speak for "Football League Division 2".
i still remember the chant from the LDF boys in the 80's:
"That what we're living for, Wycombe Wanderers in Division 4".
It seemed a bit of a pipe dream, at the time...
SBC is Sky Bet Championship
Grammatically it's an acronym, not an anagram (retired English teacher, some habits die hard)
It's not an acronym - an acronym can be pronounced as a word - it's an initialism 😉
Comment about 'ATM Machine' in 3...2....1
We need our resident grammarian @micra to adjudicate on this!
A bit slow but RAS. Redundant Acronym Syndrome. See also PIN number
Ahh, I never knew that's what it was called
How long retired out of interest ;-)
