Pep doesn't usually stay long, to dominate a league for decades you maybe need to know when to let people go and replace them. Difficult with his meagre resources 😀🎻
KDB was so slow to one rebound that he almost kicked the Tottenham player into next week.
They'll probably get going again, but will surely be too late for the title, unless they break their norm and win at Anfield next week - just to keep the deficit down to 8!
This post on the Liverpool forum killed me. Absolutely spot on!
I asked my wife if she knows who Phil Foden is before showing her, and she could not remember, but when I showed her the post she remembered him immediately!
What we do share in common with Liverpool is that even the most delusional fan wouldn't have predicted either side to be top and decently top at this stage of the season!
Up in the north for the weekend and couldn't make it over to Lincoln. Managed to get to Huddersfield to see them beat Charlton 2-1.
Always fun watching a Nathan Jones meltdown. However, a stain on the game, as a late substitution saw DDH on the pitch. With Like Berry also at Charlton, Jones putting the band back together.
As I've said before, much as I love the Bloomfield revolution, if a Championship club recruited him on the back of half a L1 season, I would fear for both Matt and the club he was going to.
GA had a decent record over a decade when he went to QPR.
Not long I don't think? I remember chanting 'top of the league' away to Oxford just before Christmas, but then we lost at Pompey on Boxing Day and got thrashed by Sunderland in the new year.

Very odd, that team is still full of absolute world beaters but no form, confidence or balance.
Only one team in the top 4 divisions has scored in every league game now!
KDB and Walker look well on their last legs. Dias and Stones don't seem to be able to be fit a the same time.
Lewis is tidy but shouldn't be in a City midfield. Gundo looks like he perhaps should have left good memories as they were.
Foden is having a post Euros hangover, and the other wingers don't look the threat we've come to expect.
Remarkable.

If they lose it, it'll be 11.
Should we start worrying about losing Blooms to Man City now?

Can't believe I only just twigged that the Saddlers are managed by Mat Sadler.
Starting to go off you a bit with this Liverpool talk ;-)
I am a forum hopper for fun, to be fair, though I do struggle to read the scouse accent.

And just for clarity, I have no love for Liverpool. I don't watch much PL, but my big six sympathies in general order are:
1= Arsenal (best friend STH)
1= Tottenham (Dad)
3 Man United (because I grew up in the Fergie era, which was magical for the neutral)
4 Liverpool (annoying, but at least they earned being a big club)
5 Chelsea (helped destroy the game, but worked for them as a steward)
6 Man City (death of football)
Thank goodness you rescued that. I didn't want to add you to the black book😀
Still can’t beat Wolfgang Wolf managing Wolfsburg
Today’s (yesterday’s) goal of the day goes to the Gloucester keeper.

I was hoping for a wind assisted 100 yard plus winner in injury time.
He’ll never come back from that.

Gloucester on the other hand….
four nil down at half time, drew 4-4. Presumably wind assisted
Given Stockport's recent results, our win looks even better value.
They’ve bounced back well, haven’t they…?
Steve Cooper sacked.
Bloomfield to Leicester nonsense in 3....2.....1
Championship jobs we'll have to watch, but he's definitely not gong straight to the prem.
Need a statto on to see when the last time a league 1 manager stepped up 2 leagues.
Have they left it too late to get lampard???

In fairness to Blooms, he's done a bit more than produce half a season of form. We've been playing well for close to 12 months.
Prophetic
I don't think we ever led League 1 under Gaz? Though maybe someone can put me right.
And we certainly weren't ever close to being top scorers in the division.
All to still be achieved though - but something magical is underway.
We were top at Christmas in 2019
How long did we sustain that out of interest?
Was that with our customary meltdown to come over that period? Or did we avoid one that year?
