I keep a record of WWFC attendance stats (because of course I do) and by my reckoning that is the lowest ever away following for a Football League match.
I make it a total of half-a-dozen away followings under three figures (Football League matches only).

We played Macclesfield Town away in September 2007. The Christmas game was on Tuesday 28th December 2004 and the declared away attendance for that game was 162.
@Twizz: I cannot thank you enough for that clarification. It was clearly a match at Bedford during the 1975 mini-saga that I first became acquainted with Tony and Margaret. They were about 20 at the time, we got on really well and went to many away games together (plus Margaret’s mum and dad) over the following thirty odd years.
My having (for some strange reason) forgotten about those 1975 matches explains my frustrating inability to understand how I could possibly have met the Stallwoods at what I thought had been the only opportunity. It’s strange that, having forgotten about a match that I attended in 1975, I have such a vivid memory, thanks to the Sun report, of a sequence of matches nine years earlier, none of which I’m pretty sure I would have attended.
So was I. I was even on the side road opposite the main gates at Loakes Park (now at Adams Park of course) where Brian Lee and the players were boarding the coach to take them to Heathrow en route to Italy for the first leg. I shyly wished them good luck but I don’t think anyone heard me.
That Anglo-Italian Cup struck me as very exotic for a non-league club. It was all very exciting.
Due to adverse weather conditions the actual away attendance was considerably lower.
Do you know the lowest away league attendance at AP. I know Morecambe and Accrington regularly brought less than 100 with one game I recall around 30 being the number.
I also remember a handful of Dag & Red being shunted into a corner of the north stand once in a 1-1 draw, although Google says they actually took 104 to that.
Oldham away October 2000 was 84. Well I'm pretty sure it was, as I was one of the 84. Was also at Wrexham the following Tuesday but think that was well over a 100.
I just checked the excellent COTN and it says approx 200 but there really wasn't that many there! I remember the stadium announcer saying 84, which is why it sticks in my mind. Unless I misheard and it was 184 but I've spent the last 24 years thinking it was 84...
I was at that game too. I must admit I have little recollection of it, mostly because we also visited Boundary Park on a Tuesday night the previous year and that was memorable because the coach arrived late, we missed two goals and it ended in a 2-2 draw.
Fortunately the vagaries of recording away attendances allows me the opportunity to be less anally retentive and accept some figures will forever be open to conjecture.
Remember the kiosk staff were giving a second burger free with a purchase as they’d cooked loads expecting a bigger crowd. Drove up on my own as couldn’t find anyone else to go, heard Sanchez had been sacked on the drive home.
On my quest to get to 92 I was about four grounds behind my two mates who had decided to accelerate the Tommy tick offs in 12/13.
My two colleagues had been to Newcastle so on a cold Tuesday December afternoon I set off for Newcastle. Newcastle lost 3-1 to Man City and I spent just over 3 hours in town.
I drove 575 miles between 1pm and 2am the following day when I got back to Reading.
We completed the 92 later on that season at Sunderland, unfortunately dear old Martin had been sacked a few weeks earlier.
I was there in the bar after the game at Bohemians on the first trip. Had a great piss up! Some of the players sneaking around a packet of silk cut like naughty kids, never forget that.

Due to adverse weather conditions the actual away attendance was considerably lower.
Do you know the lowest away league attendance at AP. I know Morecambe and Accrington regularly brought less than 100 with one game I recall around 30 being the number.
The atmosphere for that game at home was one of the best ever at Loakes Park. I seem to remember a pretty decent sized crowd as well.
I was at that Mansfield game. Brutally cold from memory but easy for me as I only lived a few miles from Field Mill at the time.
We travelled up from Hampshire, I nearly turned around at one stage as we felt the game would be called off.
The driving conditions were horrendous but we were rewarded with one of our biggest away wins in the Football League.

I seem to remember Accrington or Fleetwood having so few that they didn't even open the away end. Must have been a midweeker.
A quick glance through COTN over the last twenty seasons suggests the lowest was 31 fans from Accrington on Tuesday 17th March 2015 (2-2).
