There has to be some level of refs managing the game, when they book everyone who deserves it and someone eventually gets a red they get accused of being overly fussy and ruining the game.
I liked the suggestion that if they followed through with any of their directives the players would have to adapt but they seem to start each season with a plan around something (eg time wasting) and then just water it down and forget about it after a few weeks.
GA reported to be very close with Shrewsbury, negotiating (supposedly) over bringing Dobbo now.
Though I would have trepidation about playing a Gaz team twice, it would be nice to finally be able to sniffily say those worn out cliches like "You know what you are going to get with an Ainsworth team," and "I wouldn't want to watch that every week."

The Cowley brothers are perhaps the ultimate cautionary tale in how managers are suited to a particular club. They have done absolutely nothing outside of Lincoln. That being said, Colchester seem to be giving them time, and maybe that is the key commodity.
They took a shot that hit a Wrexham player in the head, and while half the crowd and players were for some reason calling for a handball, another guy smashed a great 25 yarder in.
Wrexham seem to have been doing it with a stout defence more than anything up to now. They have been a bit smoke and mirrors, and I think they will finish more like 5th-7th with the caveat of them potentially spending Deadpool money in January to improve.

Shrewsbury's interim coach said the interview process has finished, so we should know about GA/Dobbo soon one way or another.
