  • Just as well I had the jet fuelled up and ready to fly.

  • Death to Sky TV.

  • Wish the sun would go in.

  • Can someone tell the media team that instead of seeing yesterday's extended highlights as stated and shown on the tab. What comes on is Bristol Rovers v Wycombe.

  • Whisper this quietly, but I think I’ve discovered an interesting quirk for “overseas” viewers…

it seems you only need to be on the VPN to make the “watch live” button appear / work, once the stream starts you can disconnect and everything continues to work. This might be useful for anyone on cheapo VPNs that buffer a lot.

  • I do this in the vein attempt to make the stream “faster”.

only issue is if it drops you can’t just refresh, need to close the browser, connect then open and log in again. Wastes a precious 30s.

  • Always slightly risky to do things in the vein.

  • Not really "Wanderers" TV, more EFL tv moves - but to save starting a new thread - does anyone have any idea when they will announce the March 1st onward tv moves?

We're surely bound to see Birmingham away move, presumably most likely to the 12.30 slot?

It's just 8 weeks away now - does anyone remember if it's 4 weeks or 6 weeks notice?

    TV pick notice

How much notice will be provided for the selection of live TV games?

Sky Sports and the EFL will make good on a landmark new commitment for clubs and fans which will provide longer notice periods on TV selections.

The notice periods for selections are as follows:

Within seven days of the 2024/25 Fixture Release selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played before the end of September.

Before the start of the season, selections shall be made in respect of all matches scheduled to be played prior to the end of the third round of the FA Cup (January 2025).

By November 1, selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played between the end of the third round proper of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March, with the announcement of these picks to be made later in the month.

Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).

This is almost six month’s notice provided to fans and Clubs, a significant increase on the current deal, which sees five weeks' notice given across the majority of the season.

By selecting TV picks early and giving much more notice, fans will be able to plan with certainty when making travel and hotel arrangements.

  • Good to know for the rolling 4 week notice declared in March for April....but with all fixtures sorted until end of Feb, they still leave that month of March unclear.

Assume we can only take it that it's the same scenario, Feb 1st they'll declare March 1st.

    Yes that's what it says

  • Probably me being pedantic, wondering why in their example they say picked March 1st for April 1st, rather than saying picked Feb 1st for March 1st.

But either way, good to know.
