You can watch today’s game on WanderersTV, either internationally or in the wonderful region of Vipinie. It is also available on Sky Sports Plus and, by association, I assume NOW.
Blackpool are a wounded animal right now and won’t want a repeat of last week’s shenanigans so a tight game could be in store. Hopefully for the sake of those who’ve travelled they won’t have to witness a dreary 1-0 defeat. I’d take a score draw.
I’m not prepared to settle for anything less than a narrow victory but I won’t object if the lads (King Kone in particular) start to convert a higher percentage of the numerous chances they’ve been creating wherever they go.
Looking at the highlights of the Cambridge v Blackpool game, three of their four goals came from headers following a corner. So we need to get the defensive drills right, with Joe Low positioned to clear any danger.
Blackpool looked a bit disorganised defensively, allowing the Cambridge forwards to run through gaps. With a high press, we should be getting Kone, Sadlier and others to exploit that.
Did Saturdays man of the match start on Wednesday?
The message is the boss is in charge and picks the team he thinks is best, Skura wouldn't always make the bench and we didn't loan him out so that's progress.
Reading the Blackpool fans comments online, it's a very attacking line up for them. They are all joking asking where the defenders are, only 3 defenders in the team apparently !
I’m sure Skura doesn’t feel slighted or that he has been ‘dropped’. I’m pretty sure he would have been aware that he was in on Wednesday as a rotation option and I am reasonably sure that he will be pleased with his nights work.
He will know that it will increase the likelihood of him stepping in again when needed.
No drama.
(Although I would have been happy to see him start today)

Or go to Blackpool in a makini
Cambridge put 4 past Blackpool last Saturday so, by that logic, I think we'll win 8-1 today.
Blackpool is the birthplace of folk rockers Jethro Tull. Just wanted to say that.
I think you're living in the past with that comment.

Beaten to it!
Disappointed Sakura hasn’t kept his place after his performance against Swansea. Not giving the kid much encouragement.
Asking a lot to play Wednesday night and Saturday lunch for a player that hasn’t had many minutes this season. He will get his chance I’m sure.
Agree - importantly he is in the match day squad. his time will definitely come
It's not his place to keep, we were resting people for today.
He was very good with lowe
Dropped after a man-of-the-match performance. What kind of message does that send?

could not agree more , should have dropped Hartridge

Oh god ! We've got Darren Drysdale !!
Worst news of the week - Drysdale is today’s ref. Yikes.

YESS!!! Love it!
Well that makes up for our poor luck in the opening few games of the season. Well against the run of play. Well done lads.
@drcongo - great find - very droll
Is any one else experiencing shite audio on WanderersTV? Poor Phil keeps breaking up, its like Norman Collier is on comms...
Was just about to moan about that major clanger from Drysdale re Sadlier then we score!
Excellent work from Dan Udoh.
Great play by Udoh to create that goal
