Who was the ref that left Bloomfield lying on the ground with a head injury in the JJ hat trick game? I remember they scored because Blooms was playing the man onside (by being nearly unconscious) and Allsop couldn’t come for the cross because his mate was prone on the floor in front of him! I was absolutely furious.
Always amuses me when someone makes a comment that is clearly wrong and when confronted with irrefutable evidence doubles down on their original error of judgement.
I an interested in how the reporting system works that allows this incident to be reviewed retrospectively resulting in a three match ban long after the game finished. Who reported the incident to what authority and when ?. I do wonder if the referee assessor at the game reported what he saw to the EFL. I have no idea what happened. I have never heard of such a post match ban occurring before but no doubt it has. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I always get Drysdale and Breakspear mixed up... Never happy when either of them are in charge, though. I mean, I don’t mind a bald ref. So long as it’s this one...
Love the way the player puts his arms in the air after as if to indicate nothing to see here.
I didn't notice at the time but I was on a tiny little phone screen as my laptop was picking a great time to do updates!
This is the same ref who let that striker push Max and allow a goal. Leading to arguably the gasroom's biggest ever split on opinion. But it was pretty clear every other single time a player pushes a keeper like that it'd be blown up. However, soft.

Hmmm. Can't see two Wycombe players down play-acting from this angle either.

Didn't Drysdale send off Giles Phillips controversially at Peterborough years ago too, or was that Kettle/One of the other refs?
That was Charles Breakspear
Those 2 fellas seem to merge into one for some reason
The Deadly Duo.
The Dryspear, which sounds bad for some reason.
