When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back to Wycombe. I'm here 35 minutes now... waiting for a goal... getting softer. Every minute I stay in this stadium, I get weaker, and every minute Wrexham squats in the bush, they get stronger. Each time I looked around the stands moved in a little tighter.
Have to remember Wrexham have been spending silly money and are almost certainly going to be in the promotion chase this season but would hope for more of a fight at least.
Not a great pass but he had a shocking touch and was booked because he pulled him back. Shame we were down to 10 for the first goal you knew what was going to happen!
Bloomfield might need to remember Couhig isn't here anymore too and the new owners might not be as happy with relegation form to start the season and promotion form at the end.
Think Dan Rice was quoted talking about consolidation, bedding things in and no fixed aims. But what he says and what they're expecting could be quite different.

Brilliant!
Not sure whatever we sing is going to help today
Sadlier defending better than the defenders.
Bright spot: I think Sadlier and Kone are going to combine well this season.
Oh Kone! Scowen had an open goal.
They are so much more up for it than we are
Kone with a shot at least.
Probably will be the worst shot of the season, but it's something.
Agreed - just because he wants to play in midfield doesn’t mean he’s good enough to start there.
We’ve been wasteful with the few chances we’ve had so far - not enjoying us being slow starters under Blooms
Bottom of the league as it stands

Blackpool are doing their best
The hope was that it was the best time to play them, before they get a head of steam going.
Forgetting that there was no guarantee we'd start the season as we'd finished the last one.

More slices than Kill Bill.
They just called Wrexham a "phenomenon". Last time I checked, spending lots of money to get results is not that rare.

yet we spent nothing .
This was always a difficult opening fixture. Hopefully we can put up more fight second half- one goal and they’ll start to have doubts.

World Wide Wrexham Phenomenon
Chelsea are a phenomenon but not in a good way
Udoh for Kone or McCleary
Taffs for Hartridge
Butcher for Bakinson
Please.
I‘m conflicted with the mighty Reading beating the mighty Birmingham.
Kone is the only Wycombe player who has impressed so far.
Terrible start. Even worse middle. Strong finish.
sums us up
I wonder if Couhig is in attendance?
You sure about that
Wrexham are not good at the back, we should’ve scored at least one. Shame we’re worse at the back, and not even in the same league in midfield
Really? Sadlier has been streets ahead of everyone going forward.
Going to win 3-2 Wrexham will struggle to keep pressing after 60 mins. Vokes last minute winner
