Can’t wait to go and watch today. The most excited I’ve been for a new season in a long time. It feels like the beginning of a very special journey over the next three-five years.
It looks more like some weird fitness class for dragons where you stand on one leg and push a ball against another dragon also standing on one leg. While saying "I serve" in German. Nothing sinister at all.
Went to look at their forum to see what they think. A rather unusual experience in that they don't really have any thoughts about us at all. Most expect to win, obviously, but the usual 'cheating time-wasting scum, I couldn't watch that every week' is completely absent. The only comment about us is that we had a strong finish last season so it might be a tight game.
I suppose all those promotions and Netflixes and replacing Salford as the official small team of the BBC has left them in a happy little bubble where they don't really think too much about the opposition. The lucky bastards.
But tonight they are going to be lambs to the slaughter......

You can watch on the following channels, and possibly others I'm not aware of:
Come on Wycombe!
Thanks to Barnsley, we are not bottom going into our first game!
Really looking forward to this, new ground for me, does have a feeling of "anything could happen" today.
What a welcome sight this thread is.

Just looking forward to a day in the sun (hopefully) at a good old football ground watching Richard Kone
A motto in German above two goosestepping dragons.
Something very sinister about their club crest.
Eich dyn, in Welsh, means "Your man", happy coincidence or what?
It feels great to be able to say match day again, although the late kick-off time makes it slightly weird.
COME ON YOU BLUES!!!

Ich dien if I remember correctly (from 1953 GCE, nothing more sinister - links? - than that)
By the looks of G Mac Instagram both the club doc and psychologist have left the club today. It seems strange timing.
I was surprised that GCE's were around in your days, but on checking I see they started in 1951.
Just setting off with the family in tow.
Many thanks to @vital for helping us with the extra tickets.
I must say I’m getting rather excited!
Result of medical data analysis?
The rain has cleared and all the friendly mancs and scousers at the station want us to win. It's back people!!!!!

COME. ON. WYCOMBE.
The sign of a happy supporter base. It’s only the miserable underachievers who spend their time focusing on the other team.
For a moment I thought that was the phonetic spelling ...
This is also new territory for them. Give them a season or two, and if we are still stuck in L1 together, they will not want to watch us every week.
Would be a massive start to get a win away at Wrexham. Come on !!!!.
Will there be match commentary from @bluntphil on Wycombe Sound?
Good team - I feel for Taffs, Butcher and Udoh, but it is a sign of strength and depth!
May have missed it in pre season, but assume Lubala has a knock?
Whereas I assume McCarthy just isn't getting into the 18?
