When Ferguson gets so many plaudits for being an amazing coach I do wonder. They have some of the best players in the league, certainly the best strikers and arguably the best centre half pairing. So I would say they have the best recruitment team but certainly not the best coach else they would not be ballsing up the play offs.
The levels of shithousery and time-wasting on display from Oxford last night were up there with what we used to do under GA. But Posh only had themselves to blame, and their fans didn't help by throwing flares on to the pich just after they scored, and the delay killed the momentum they had.
The only bit of Swann's rant I agreed with, was his reference to 'Twitter loons'.
If they are going to lose 5 or 6 players over the summer, would we want to bid for any of them?
Two of their better players have already gone. Clarke Harris possibly to Mansfield(!) and Mason Clarke went to Coventry at Christmas for a reported deal north of £4m. Edwards is Premier League bound, I could see Knight going to Championship. They are swimming in cash so even with our new owner there is little to no chance we will be calling them up only to then be a feature on TalkShite by their celeb chairman.
I didn't see it last night as I don't have Sky (am I going to have to hold my nose and change that next season, by the way?) but I did listen on BBC Radio Oxford. Their commentators were delighted when the 3 flares were serially thrown on the pitch immediately after the Posh goal, saying that it wouldn't help the Posh momentum at all. And lo and behold, Oxford go up the other end and get a free kick followed by the decisive penalty.
It’d be quite satisfying to buy some of their players, but I’d rather buy the Peterborough Argus and Bugle (or whatever it’s called) and turn it into an organ for Wycombe Wanderers propaganda.
Fergie has been very helpful to Blooms in his burgeoning mamagerial career, according to the latter, so pantomime villains aside, he remains in my good books.
Just an insane season - I really hope they do it. The Europa is not an easy tournament to win, and an unbeaten treble to include it would go down as one of the greatest seasons in history, and certainly the most unique.
They should be heavy favourites in the two remaining league games and the cup final. It really feels as though it may be Atalanta standing between them and the incredible.
Would be quite something from the same club who blew the *proper* treble in 2002 (admittedly they did lose to a very good Real Madrid team in the CL final).
Five equalisers in the 89th min or later since the start of March. Stanisic, who got the equaliser last night, has scored two 97th-min equalisers in the last five games alone. He's a bloody right-back!

Brilliant video doing the rounds of a Peterborough fan leaving the ground tonight with ‘Wembley 2024’ on the back. Recycled from our game you hope!

When I read his work I always have this voice and image in my mind
'Unloveable Wycombe Wanderers' in the opening paragraph.
Don't ever change, Alann Swannn!

Leverkusen at it AGAIN, preserving their unbeaten season by coming from 2-0 down to draw with goals on 82 and 97.
Four games left to achieve an unbeaten treble. Ridiculous stuff.

How many injury time winners and equalisers have they scored now?

*7 in the 88th min or later, and that's just in the last two months. Talk about never say die attitude.
Strangely, before this mad run, it looks like they hadn't scored an equaliser that late since September.
Incredible start at Doncaster!
Come on Max! Great that they have turned it around so quickly, though I rather like both clubs.
Max suddenly cramps up as Doncaster start to dominate.
Stryjek judges the awkward flight of a cross-shot perfectly and contemptuously flicks it away. Sigh.
Penalties!
Nothing better than a shoot out when your teams not playing.
Come on Max
Max booked for time wasting meaning the Doncaster player had to wait longer.
what did he do to waste time, I missed it?
What a save by Max!
Me too great save
Oh how unlucky.
