@Otter87 out of interest, what does he say to 'promote the club'? - or do you mean he just gives regular updates about how the games have gone, etc? (I'm not on X so can't see his output)
May have been posted yesterday if so, apologies: the commentary on twitter by Kieran Macguire and on other social media gives a précis of League One clubs turnover, players wages etc. The only club not included on the 24 is WWFC.
Can a clever sausage copy a link please?
On another subject, a cracking Players Sponsor's Dinner last night, best crack since 2014.
Very cool together vibe, Richard Kone, a fabulous man, Gideon Kodua, JJ and GMac all in imperious form.
Beryly Kubala got all the questions right about Wycombe's history, not bad for a fella who has only recently joined.
A privilege to witness the coronation of The Gaffer, the club could not be in better hands.
Top skills to Matt Cecil, Iain Hamilton, not forgetting Mr. Show Biz himself, Big Phil, housewives' favourite, who compered the evening.
Very good speeches by Neil Peters and Mr. Bloomfield.
A number of clubs (including Wycombe) filed small company accounts with less detail - so those clubs excluded from some of the charts. Wycombe do appear in some charts though, so not true to say they are excluded.
In plenty of tweets/posts, he'll say stuff like "Good game of the boys felt like we deserved more than a point against a tough opponent. Let's finish the season strong!" Just makes me think that there's something else going on as none of the other loanee players have posted anything like this. I dunno, I might be adding 2 + 2 and getting 5......
Have always wondered if all of our players write their own twitter comments or just click the "great support from the fans, buzzing" type auto responder button.
There was never ever any chance of getting Lonwijk back. He is far too good for League One.
But did anyone else notice when they announced the players at the start that the announcer pointedly said it was Dale Taylor’s last appearance for us but not when he announced Nigel’s name?
Disappointing about Taylor, I thought he'd be able to continue his development here. Isn't he out of comtract or does he still have another yr at Forest?
I was at the sponsors dinner, Vokes is back next year and Wheels.
I understand Tafa and McCleary too.
Bez seemed to suggest he was hoping to be here. Taylor was a little coy when asked but it didn’t seem outside the realms of possibility.
I think Big Chris and Jason may have played their last games in the quarters today.
When I asked Freddie if he was staying, he said “depends what the club says”. Which I replied, “is that us or West Ham!” We laughed and moved on. Possibly the best loanee we’ve had, certainly in top 3.
Mind you if Lonwijk had been here all season and fit, he would probably take the award.
Not sure I see Vokes back unless on much reduced terms. With Kone, Hanlan and Bez in the building, I would have assumed Vokes’s game time would be limited. Perhaps we use him as a super sub like the ‘ Beast’.

I always think we’re going up as champions. What’s the point otherwise?

F.A.O. Chris
Sorry for this, I didn't mean to suggest excluded I meant weren't available as per your comment regarding small company accounts.
Thanks for posting the link.

All-time top Gideons:
I may be willing to swap nos. 1 & 2 if 2 signs for next season.
All-time bottom Gideons:
Good work but the Kenny Rogers album a startling omission
'Gideon' by My Morning Jacket is my favourite Gideon.

cheers, @peterparrotface @MindlessDrugHoover
Will listen later and let you know of any amendments to my list.
PS: @peterparrotface I may not listen to the whole Kenny Rogers album.
@our_frank Armagideon Time - B-side of London Calling. Too tenuous?
Anyone remember staying in hotels back in the day that had a small Gideon bible in the bedside draw?
Keep West
There was one in my hotel room when I stayed in Devon last year.
I always think (since M£t P@l!c£ anyway) that we’re bound to be relegated.
The point is to (hopefully) be pleasantly surprised!

Rocky Raccoon, checked into his room, only to find…
Judging by the tone of the club's output (very much 'thanks and good luck'), I don't think we'll be getting Nige back or Taylor on a permanent.

Talking to someone who was at the end of season dinner on Thursday, apparently Wheeler said to them that he’d be here next season.
But that was the limit of their gossip unfortunately.
My brother has just told me that Vokes said he's here for next season (while signing his shirt)
Disappointing about Taylor, I thought he'd be able to continue his development here. Isn't he out of comtract or does he still have another yr at Forest?
He has another year at Forest, I assume they'll try to get him in the Championship. Same with Wolves and Nigel.

That's an interesting post.
Grimmer as well has confirmed he'll be here next year.
So maybe not the real changing of the guard a lot thought.

Or as a player-coach to guide & mentor the younger strikers through tough times during the season
Well we know our shopping list contains the following:
2x GK
1x RB
1(maybe 2) x LB
At least 2 x CB
1x CM
1 (maybe 2) x Winger for either wing
While we have a strong core in midfield & upfront, we need a big rebuild in the defensive third
Thats still a fair shopping list.
