Our schedule certainly makes for us having a say in the relegation spots, with Shrewsbury, Port Vale, Burton and Cambridge all away in a row. The sad thing is I have a lot of time for all of those clubs (maybe a bit more neutral on Port Vale). I don't actually want anyone to go down who is in danger.
The moment the ref blew the final whistle at the Wrexham promotion party one of his linesmen was already halfway across the pitch and heading towards the tunnel to avoid the inevitable pitch invasion. Was he tipped off?
The step 5 club are top of the Spartan Premier, three points clear of MK Irish. Both have two games remaining, Real Bedford effectively need three points to be champions, with their +19 goal difference.
Real Bedford's average attendance this season is 273, boosted by their largest gate of the season, yesterday, 1031 for the 0-0 draw with Tring Athletic.
Ran past the home of the moral-less club in the midlands today as part of my 10 marathons in 10 days challenge. Had to remind them what a real team wears!
Leverkusen cruising to their first ever Bundesliga title. Can anyone name the other five clubs from Europe's top five leagues to be crowned champions for the very first time this century...?
I can't think of any new winners in Italy or England besides Leicester, so maybe a Spanish side like Deportivo? I remember them being good in the early 2000s. Maybe another French too - Rennes or Lille? Or even Lyon? I can't remember when their run started.
Barcelona fans have attacked their own team's bus, thinking it was the PSG bus. Apparently the badge and club name in great big letters down the side wasn't a big enough clue.

Real Bedford have received a cash injection of $4.5 million from two cryptocurrency investors.
"We’re not just investing in a football club. We’re investing in a dream to bring Premier League football to Bedford."

Definitely. All mic'd up and ref would have said blowing up in 5/10 etc.
Ha, I didn't realise it was the Winklevoss twins
They should be careful, or Zuckerburg might start a club called Realer Bedford and have tremendous success with it.
Crikey, well done Palace and Eze. Talk about a title-crushing bogey team.

Liverpool and Arsenal both bottling it, how inevitable 🙃
No
Leicester for the obvs one.
PSG? It feels like they are a recent thing. Montpellier too.
Montpellier yes. That was almost Leicester levels of underdog-ness.

You've got two there 👀
Lyon and Deportivo?
Yep! Lyon had never won it then went on a mad one.
The remaining one is German (not Leverkusen)
My boss in 1995 (retirement year) was a Blackburn fan. I’m fairly sure they were Premier League champions that year.
Weren't Dortmund fairly new to actually winning anything ?
Wolfsburg? I feel like they had a good season at some point.
This century brother M...that was last.
✅
Lyon had never won it and then won about 8 in a row? That's amazing!
Yep! And I might be wrong, but I don't think they had bags of money either?
That was also the 3rd time they'd been Champions
Surely anyone who introduces themselves as Successful Businessman Nigel LeQuesne has to be a bit good.
