Highly doubt it would have been a lower offer than what Wycombe offered him at the expiry of that contract in Jul'23.

Surely too early to rule out another dip into administration and a convenient CVA to bully external creditors into dropping debt. The cycles some of these clubs go through regularly are disgusting.
There's zero chance btw that the EFL will mandate a budget cap so low that they can't get better players than many of the clubs around them and if they manage to keep what's left in the current squad and the academy running through this they might only need 3 or 4 seasoned pros to be very comfortable in this division or the one below.

Her whinging about the insecurity of her lot at Reading is absolutely hilarious. When your husband gets offered the best deal from the club least likely to be able to fulfil it you may have to consider the validity of the offer. There are people at Reading football club that are paid a fraction of the wage of Lewis Wing who will struggle to pay their mortgage or heating when the club again default on wages. They get my sympathy.
How naive of Reading fans to think she cares about them (and not primarily herself, or her partner’s salary). Many 13 year olds would be less naive. She’s milking it beyond belief.
To be fair @MorrisItal2 I think that was just me with my gob open. It was simply a bargain that anyone with £25 million (or not as it's not in their pocket or bank account that's not how it works apparently) would be a fool to turn down.
