I'd be more concerned, after the apparent offer to bail Reading out during an interim period, whether WWFC / Feliciano are somehow now in hock to Reading.
More importantly now, is the Little Marlow training facility still a possibility. I remember the Bucks Free Press running an article outlining the facility, which was to have three grass pitches and a 3G pitch, with indoor gym plus other facilities and parking.
I seem to remember that the proposal was to build this close to the current athletics track.
Wouldn’t it be nice to hear that the appropriate planning authorities have supported the club and granted planning permission for that facility.
Assuming Buckinghamshire Council own the adjacent land to the running club in Little Marlow and are as cash strapped as my new Council Tax bill suggests, this could be the time to make a new offer. That land is roughly 450M x 280M (more than twice the size of Marlow Road).
Actually, on that note - shout out to P Terry's Burger Stand who seemed to be the only outlet in the entire of Austin to not double their prices for SXSW. $3.45 for a very tasty cheeseburger.
Need to be more specific. A dog could beat 100 chickens in a race but probably pecked to death in a fight. Unless the dog worked its way through one at a time then I’d back the dog to be honest.
I'm sure I recall a Tom & Jerry episode where 1 chicken gave Tom a right going over. Given the number of YouTube videos where 1 cat sees off a dog, my money's on the chickens.
I have a couple. Sent to the email address but posting here for openness.
Bit wordy but if now isn’t a time to ask questions of a little more importance than “what is your favourite cheese” I don’t know when is.
Q1. Whether the Bearwood training facility purchase completes or not, it obviously sends a strong signal of intent for you or others to invest heavily in facilities for Wycombe Wanderers. Given the stature of the club how is spending even half of the £25 million the media reported sustainable for Wycombe wanderers? What is the 5/10/20 year plan as I assume there must be one to justify this level of spending and to get a decent ROI (or even just break even)?
Q2. If anything should be learned from our Berkshire neighbours, Being beholden to an owner/investor with deep pockets is great up until the point they get bored and they stop supplying cash to fund their pet project. So Rob, what are you enshrining in any investor/potential new owner agreement that ensures Wycombe Wanderers don’t end up in the same position Reading FC find themselves in so that my 6 and 8 year old, who will be visiting Wembley for the first time in a few weeks (as I did vs Runcorn and Kidderminster) still have a club to support when they are the wrong side of 40?
All the Reading twitter yoofs are suggesting they are going to highjack the Q&A with all their own questions, along with a load of abuse. Not sure they can though can they ?

@bluntphil
Could you please ask in the Q&A:
Following the collapse of the training ground talks, do any of the Reading entities owe WWFC or Feliciana any monies?

If we are not challenging for the top next season I will be the first to ask...where did all that money go?
We would have to apply for the planning permission first - as with the access road.......
I am not convinced Little Marlow was ever any more than a negotiating ruse with the owners of the existing training ground.
Yes, I obviously know we would have to have planning permission, that is why I mentioned it in my post.

Get your questions in
When are we buying Bisham Abbey Sports Centre?
One half cooked burger in the Frank Adams.

Sounds like a good move to make.
I'm jealous (of you being at SXSW and the burger). Drop any good finds in the music thread...
@flymofrank I went to see Juan Atkins doing the worst DJ set I've ever witnessed.
Fair play for Mr Couhig running that Q and A.
As long as people don't ring in with questions about whether 100 chickens would beat 1 giant dog and keep the questions relevant.
The chickens would win that hands down
Yep, dog would choke on feathers

I'm basing it on what chickens do to foxes
Dog
four legs good, two legs bad
But it's 100 chickens, so 200 legs...

love and kisses,
The Dancing Yak.
The dog's carrying a piece....
Chickens don't have hands
Come to think of it, nor do dogs
Wings down?
but horses do.

Guys, he said “giant” dog. The one I’m imagining is polishing off the chickens like Takeru Kobayashi does hotdogs. All 100 inside a minute.
