What we probably have to accept (at a certain level) however is that there are probably more people better qualified in relation to appointing a new manager (or not as the case may be) behind the scenes than there on here. And the view of those better qualified people seems to be (at the moment) that it is better to keep with the current manager.
We are perfectly free to disagree with that view, but it doesn't necessarily make it the wrong one, even if it doesn't feel right at the moment. We (well most of us and I am a recent addition to this side of the fence) will probably be able to say 'told you so' if/when we get relegated, but other than showing our displeasure by booing at unacceptable performances, we are basically impotent.
Also his references at previous clubs were hardly glowing, so it was hard to tell exactly how he'd pan out. His performances recently may be down to coaching as much as getting match fit.
He apparently dislikes Peterborough based on how he perceives he was treated there, his performance was in the tradition of the "point to prove against a club that rejected him" genre.

Bielsa in!
I'm willing to bet he's a damn sight more qualified than anyone else in a senior position behind the scenes.
Probably is but then we haven’t got anyone behind the scenes who would qualify to advise either.

Hopefully that was a glimpse last night 😋
Now to get it done, where it matters, in the league as well!
Twice now!
14 goals scored in our last four games in all competitions.
I’m hoping that’s a turning point and a visible improvement in our attacking play.
Sadlier has made an enormous difference to the team. He certainly adds a real threat. Quickly becoming my favourite Wycombe player.
I’m enjoying my foolish, blind optimism tonight 😬😳😜
I appreciate things could turn quickly and we are nowhere near safe yet but I’m hoping these last two performances could be considered an improvement?
But why was he overlooked by the manager for so long?
Wycombe since Matt Butcher came:
2 played
2 wins, 0 draws, 0 defeats
8 goals scored
3 conceded
He's Matt the Butcher bringing Alice the meat
I think he was a little way off full fitness when he joined, but it did seem to take an age. Possible that he had some setbacks.

Bolton fans were gutted to see him go.
Let's hope they are even more gutted Tuesday.
Is there an update of this table coming soon?
