I remember his humble exit interview saying how he'd thoroughly enjoyed being a pro league player.
Was great that he got back into the league and went on so long too.
That Adams has a lot to answer to.
Even Roger Johnson said at the time that he "knew" he'd never get to the premier league! Probably because when your own manager, a central defender great doesn't even know if you're a defender it utterly kills your belief
Whether or not the decisions were right or wrong, I doubt four months on the edge of the Wycombe first team will have killed a 20 something's career or development or brought the loan system crashing down.
Not a huge loss. Looked like there's a decent player in there somewhere, but we never managed to get the best out of him. Always gave his all though. Aberdeen is a good opportunity for the lad.
No doubting that we do need to bring in another midfielder though and that's assuming that Scowen will be back soon.
I'm not going into it because it won't be appreciated on here, but expected assists. Yes, better balls ought to lead to more assists, but assists are dependent on someone actually putting the ball in the net, so it's not fair to use that as the go-to gauge of a player's creativity - especially in this team that doesn't know how to finish.
Hopefully the new manager will play a formation where Philips can get starts. He only got 15 mins yesterday but I'm guessing he hasn't really had a proper training session with them yet?

I am, I just watched the fa cup run back on YouTube and remembered what a good player he was
Fair enough! A glutton for punishment.

Why no new players?
New players!
Why new players no good?
Why new players leaving?

Agreed. Pretty overrated in my opinion. But I think that’s the Passion Premium.

He's been one of our most creative and dynamic players this season
He hasn’t created a single goal and scored just once in the league.
If ever something says how poor you've been as an attacking force!
When a guy who has played most weeks in an attacking mid position and barely scored or assisted is given that accolade.
Was he good at creating space like Horgan though?
Only three of our players have created more than two big chances all season. Oof.
Assists aren't exactly the best measure of creativity tbf
What is?
Lovely balls?
Playing them I mean.
these adjectives can’t be used to describe any of our players.

He joins Aberdeen and quickly sees the manager depart. Not a great start

If you manage Aberdeen and you really want to lose your job, sign a Wycombe player!
Think they want our manager?
