Frankly Rob and Pete (if you're listening which, even if you're reading this forum, I imagine you aren't) you are putting much more at risk than points by sticking with Bloomfield. Fan's trust, attendances, your investment etc. Just sticking with him because you said you would if cowardice. Sometimes you have to make a hard decision.
In the defence of the supporters we were also singing and getting behind the team even up in the FA , it was only after the end of the dire first half and at the final whistle that I heard booing and what do you expect .
Players and managers ask for passion from supporters .
Give them decent football and a few wins and they’ll cheer you to the rafters.
Sadly, Rob does have experience of owning a football team and things going tits up. Those with a nervous disposition should look away now.
In November 1997, Rob Couhig, owner of the New Orleans Zephyrs baseball team, purchased the Gamblers from Donnie Pate. Couhig renamed the team the New Orleans Storm and moved it to Zephyr Field which seated only 10,000 but had natural grass as compared to the artificial turf of Tad Gormley Stadium.[5] The team also changed its colors to purple, gray and black to match the colors of the Zephyrs baseball team.
In February 1998, Bill Jeffries left to become an assistant with the Chicago Fire and Daryl Shore was elevated to head coach.[6] In January 1999, Danny Rebuck replaced Daryl Shore as head coach.[7] In February 2000, Couhig announced the Storm was suspending operations.
The allusion is both obvious and intentionally melodramatic. That said in many years of consultancy I came to the pronciple not to work with family businesses. Blood is thicker than water and decisions often made ‘round the kitchen table’ may lack objectivity, in my experience.
Christ that explains why all our players are getting worse and our manager looks drained. We don’t need a new manager or a left back, we need garlic, stakes, some holy water and Buffy!

'I only said - I say Mr Mcleary you need to exert yourself a little more if we are to prevail ..and he told me to **** OFF! '
To be honest @Wendoverman, I know you are being sarcastic but it really wasn’t much more than you suggest. Actual words “get stuck in Garath”.
I find the baiting of @glasshalffull to say something positive and then moaning about him inevitably saying something positive equally pointless.

Give them that first half and you’ll get booed.
passion
Did the guy actually ,"encourage" him, or did he himself lace it with some swears or suggestion McCleary wasn't putting effort in?
If it was genuine encouragement your post is a bit worrying, as MCCleary doesn't come across as a hot head.
Bar that time he smashed someone off the ball for a red.
There was a whole bunch of random flags swirling around in the centre of the terrace. I assume that was them?
Spot on

And that was the end of the Storm.
he does not care about the club and that is evident
For those that don’t possess a copy of ‘Close Quarters’ I’ll just leave this here.
They must have left their cold-eyed ruthlessness at home.
Blood family?!
they are being cold-eyed and ruthless in doing exactly what they want rather than what the situation merits
@Malone - Blood family: Rob, Pete, Kevin
Strange wording that suggests you had some other sinister meaning.
The allusion is both obvious and intentionally melodramatic. That said in many years of consultancy I came to the pronciple not to work with family businesses. Blood is thicker than water and decisions often made ‘round the kitchen table’ may lack objectivity, in my experience.

The Couhigs aren't vampires. More like The Banana Splits without make-up.
I’ve seen more fight in this thread than I have from our team over the past few months.
