Looks an excellent signing .Interesting to see how he progresses in mens football. Hopefully he’s a Potts not a Breckin. Also for the long term , we are building a good relationship with West Ham and they clearly trust us with their stars of the future.
Welcome Gideon! Hopefully he makes the step up quickly, well done to all involved, as it has been clear for last couple of months we needed some pace, guile and goals for the front line. Hopefully Kodua and Kone are just what we need!
Here is some optimism - an average of two points a game for the rest of the season would give us 42 more points and have us finish on 71. Could that be enough to dream?
Anyway I bet we get as far as catching Stevenage who are currently in 7th, especially as we are going to beat them at the Lamex. I reckon it was that home game that was where things took a real turn for the worse. I think they only got that win through some shocking Steve Evans tatics (and some bad luck).
I thought they comprehensively battered us that day and they fully deserved their win. I think there’s a much higher chance Stevenage get promoted than we catch them in the table.
Yep. I completely agree that the right word is battered. I saw what happened to Brandon Hanlon as a deliberate attempt to hurt someone, perhaps not to quite the extent as the actual result, but nevertheless I believe the intention was to do damage. Steve Evan's various comments after the game make me want them to be promoted less than any other side in our division so it may well be a case of heart over head.
I just actually checked this out (did anybody else bother I wonder) and yes, the first letter of the previous six tweets did indeed spell out "gideon". I cannot believe that anyone would ever have noticed this if the sixth hadn't pointed it out. I'm just sharing this on here because I don't know myself how to react to it. I find the playfulness attractive, but the obscurity absurd. I guess this is a very specialised, and also almost if not entirely pointless, acrostic.
I totally did check it out ! The previous six tweets seemed a little bit contrived and that gave me a vibe that there was something going on. Then when the seventh tweet explained, I went back and saw for myself that they did have the acrostic. I think it's the way a lot of brands/companies go about setting up "new releases" these days, encoding little clues and hints into the stuff they put on social media beforehand . I think the idea is that after you do it a few times, people start to expect it and then when they go looking for it they're talking about you and reposting your tweets and generating engagement/ activity etc..

Maybe this explains Boyes going back? You can’t have more than 4 loanees in a match day squad and we’re already over that number.
He was their best player on Tuesday.
Exciting times with Potts, Kone and now Kodua.
Fantastic news! Will MB go for a bold all-out attacking team selection on Saturday, something like this:
Stryjek
Grimmer, Low, Forino, Tafazolli
Wheeler, Potts, Leahy
Kone, Vokes, Kodua
Bench: Ravizzoli, Jacobson, Vincent-Young, Sadlier, Phillips, McCleary, D Taylor
No
Taf at left back!?
😂
6ft 4 left backs for the reverse Ormondroyd, quite like it
Huge for the 6 Music funky Dad element of our support
Pretty sure allowed five
the mere thought of Vokes flanked by Kone and Kouda...
A loan signing of Biblical proportions

I had in mind 'Visions of Gideon' by Sufjan Stevens. Bit melancholy for a terrace chant, mind...
You can have five - and we have had five in our squad on several occasions this season.
i think Boyes has gone back because he’s been recalled.
Presuming this was lined up in advance, Bloomfield must have been at least a little secretly pleased when Kodua scored on Tuesday.
He looked absolutely superb. What a signing
Feels like it might be the start of a prosperous relationship between Wycombe and WHU. I’m very pleased in that respect.

For those that haven't seen it, check this out. The word 'potential' doesn't even begin to cover it.

Just watch his show reel:
Paris C-H + Fred O = Gideon K
Happy days, hopefully 🤞

Lovely comment @railwaybeth , but are you saying you checked it out before they told you to check it out?
