Come from behind win for Bristol City. Allsop did not cover himself in glory for Mehmeti's goal, but that looked like the Anis of old. Manning is clearly better for his development than the last manager.
He was outstanding in the pre-season friendly at Wealdstone, the best player on the pitch by a mile.
However, we signed Freddie Potts and Kian Breckin on loan and he disappeared to the back of the queue and rather than sit around all season (again) was loaned out to Ayr.
Not a criticism of Matt, as Potts is an exceptional talent, but a demonstration of how hard it is for young footballers to make their mark if they don’t get a chance.
Maybe with a year behind him at Ayr, next season will be the one given he’s still under contract for another season.
Things must have changed a bit for Allsop to be preferred to Ingram in the first place, not sure how much the latter has played recently while the former seems to have been a somewhat unlikely regular feature for teams in the championship for the last few years.
Since Alexander was let go by Franchise, Stewart hasn’t had a look in. He’s played minutes in the paint pot trophy but not in the squad for league games. Guessing he has been told by Williamson that he will be going back in January. What a fall from grace for him, I genuinely wonder what is next for his career if he can’t even make a success of it in L2.
Such a great appointment, and a stroke of luck for Mehmeti to get a manager who believes in him (Manning wanted to try and get him to Oxford on loan in January).

Anis starts for Bristol. He is certainly getting more opportunities under Manning. Now if he can just pop up with a goal or assist...
AAH2.0 with his 15th of the season.
There you go
Anis scores for Bristol City. Cuts in from left and sticks it in far corner, apparently. Seen that a few times.
GET IN, ANIS!

Not technically the right thread but 90 mins for Jack Young in an extraordinary game tonight for Ayr United away at league leaders Raith Rovers.
Despite taking the lead, Ayr were 2-1 down at half-time and down to 10 men after a sending off.
They then scored twice to make it 3-2, only for Raith to pull one back. Ayr scored again to make it 4-3 only to concede in injury time .
All in all not a bad point at the league leaders but I bet the Honest Men are gutted having scored three goals in 45 mins with 10 men
…..and typically BBC Scotland broadcast the other game in the Scottish Championship tonight between Queens Park and Dundee United….which finished 0-0.
I think it’s probably the fair place to put this. I can’t see him breaking through here.
Depends if he’s given a chance or not really.

Joe Burnell on the Bristol City RobinsTV commentary, mentioned that Blooms regularly asks him for an update on how Anis is getting on.
So pleased for Mehmeti. It was always ‘when’, rather than ‘if’.
Not only was there a classic Mehmeti goal, but Allsop went off to be replaced by Ingram. Quite a Wycombe representation!
Things must have changed a bit for Allsop to be preferred to Ingram in the first place, not sure how much the latter has played recently while the former seems to have been a somewhat unlikely regular feature for teams in the championship for the last few years.
Or Wycombe fans underrated him!
And their fans are not happy with either keeper. Blamed Allsop for Anis’ goal and Ingram for the winning goal.
Josh Umerah scores as Hartlepool come from 3-0 and 4-2 down to draw 4-4 at Wealdstone
Highlights of the Honest Men's 4-4 below. Young can be seen stroking it about in midfield.

Thanks for that Vital. What a match. And doesn’t the artificial pitch look a bloody mess. Seemed to play ok though.
Young shows up quite well in these clips. Always keen to get on the ball in midfield and using it constructively. Good to see.
Great to see Steve Guppy, Matt Crossley and Keith Ryan at AP yesterday. We really did have a brilliant side in the early 90’s.
Those were my favourite days supporting Wycombe, absolutely great times following the blues throughout the land.
Max Kretzschmar puts Wealdstone 2-0 up at Maidenhead - two of the few semi-pro teams left in the NL, both going really well
Anis starts for Bristol City, who are 1-0 up at Watford

He has not scored, but is evidently playing a blinder so far. 3-1 up now.
4-1 now. They're up to 7th and two points off the play-offs - Manning working wonders.

That MK side may not have got promoted, but they were one of the best League 1 teams I’ve seen. Seems a fantastic manager.
From a Bristol City fan on Twitter: "Mehmeti is a man reborn. Great to see."
Russell Martin's Southampton beat Swansea 5-0 to make it 16 games unbeaten - now 3rd in Championship
Just brilliant. I could not be happier for the lad!
