Can't help but think that 1) Max has been stupid and has completely cost us, but 2) I've seen about 1000 corners where fouls have been given on the goalkeeper with less contact then that.
Another tragedy for Max is that I thought he'd been superb up to that moment. Arguably our MOTM.
Find something to do on Saturday Max because you certainly won’t be in goal. He invited the contact by fiddling around with the ball in front of him and on picking it up suffered the slightest of touches but decides to fall back like a bloody drama queen forgetting to hang onto the ball as he fell to the floor. One of THE most idiotic pieces of goalkeeping I’ve ever seen.
An FA cup run feels critical this season as we were already getting ready for a very unusual dull midtable season, but we're wandering dangerously towards a dog fight.
Got to feel sorry for Blooms, Not making any comment on how he's doing overall himself in this but he has got the lads to fight today and now not only has he got another needless loss to deal with but all the fallout too.
Because I’m frustrated with the way stats are constantly analysed now in football. The 2019-20 season was the prime example when this club defied all the stats by winning more points than others.
My thought as well. Time wasting? Desire to see if he could get their player booked? No need for it. He wasn’t knocked over, he took a blatant dive and then let the ball roll out of his hands.
Was it a foul on him? Maybe, but you play to the whistle.
We are only the point we just pissed away short of being bang on mid table with a game in hand on some and two on others, and there are plenty of games before January.
Much improvement needed, just hoping the circus round all this doesn't stifle all efforts to improve. Today was a freak but you don't get to have many like Saturdays.
We have 3 points from our last 7 games, and are joint bottom of the form table over the last 6. It's trending in one direction, and needs to improve quickly.
Matt Bloomfield: “I’ve never seen a goal like it. The circumstances are so disappointing. Usually when a striker runs at a keeper it’s a foul. But at the same time, you’ve got to hold on to the ball. I saw the reaction I wanted from Saturday, but to lose is so frustrating.”
As far as fecking about and finding out goes I'd suggest the "loyal" supporter who flagged down and shouted abuse at one of our players for bants and then got twatted was another great example.

You like to mention XG at every opportunity. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s a completely pointless stat.
On another thread somebody said they couldn't go to many games as it was expensive and they had, amongst other things, shoes to buy.
The consensus among neutrals on social media seems to be that it was so ridiculous that it must be match fixing. Not a good look for Max.
Totally unprofessional. Should be dropped for that, particularly bearing in mind we have what appears to be a good back up keeper
Has a game ever been so low key and yet so 'must win' as Saturday vs Morecambe?
Ah, ok, Oh to have spent the last 5 mins at the shops. Nick Freeman Hardy Willis obviously . Too soon to break into puns?
It's never too soon for puns
If you don't like it (probably because you don't understand it), why engage? Just ignore it - plenty of people find it interesting.

Christ if there is regular betting patterns recently that video would be pretty damning. Same as the first goal Saturday
Match fixing tries to be a bit more subtle. This was just clown world.

Is Bloomfield the right man if we are ‘ wandering dangerously towards a dog fight’. I have some reservations.
What do the Couhigs do if we are in the bottom 4 in January?
Fast-track a sale?
Play in goal maybe? For all of Matt’s efforts the pole in the goal has cost us the last two games.
Probably remind us that we have the best stadium outside of the top flight, with great toilets, brilliant WiFi and the best hot dogs.
Well we have only won 6 of our 18 league games, which is nowhere near good enough.
And yet...
Can't believe anyone saying it's a foul. Cosgrove stops as he reaches Max who throws himself to the floor.
It's completely embarrassing and he should be dropped / sold.
Boyes also a fool for getting a second yellow for dissent.
A complete lack of common sense and discipline all round.
Well at least he hasn’t got a player allegedly headbutting loyal supporters outside local shops. Yet.

Appoint Gaz, obviously.

Fairly balanced summary I think.
