    btw, I think the club is right to just be keeping shtum over this absolute non-event, but if they did decide to say anything I would hope it would be as eloquent and perfectly expressed as @eric_plant's post.

    I'm from an army family and my Dad was very active in the British Legion. I buy a poppy...but I can see why others might not. The Man City chants about Bobby Charlton tell you that society has not advanced for some of the football family.

    The only negatives for Mr Phillips I believe came from Cambridge supporters if I can believe my ears. 🤷‍♂️

    Yup...someone asked me why they were booing him. I explained about Facebook, Twitter and the Daily Mail.

    Glad that no-one fell for it from our side as far as I know.
