An interesting comment @bluntphil made in commentary yesterday, was that we don't really have a 'best' starting XI. We have the depth in the squad to rotate players between starters, finishers, or resting out of the matchday squad for a particular game. So Matt can select what he believes is the best combination, depending on who the opposition are.
I'd also suggest that Vokes and GMac, at 33 and 36 years old respectively, while both great on their day, are not the long-term future of the club, especially if we are able to get promoted to the Championship this season.
Think De Barr, Low, Phillips and Taylor all on international duty so won’t be involved tomorrow. Makes it more difficult to meet qualifying players rule!
I enjoyed this vlog It is quite refreshing to watch a fair summary of the game from an opposition supporter and our own @bluntphil makes an appearance.
Now that Joe Low has been drafted into the Wales senior squad (replacing an injured player), the possibility arises of him having to shackle a rampant Tjay.
I really like this lad. There are lots of matchday vlogs from young 'uns, but he has really pushed himself to keep improving, and he is seen as one of the voices of the club now.
He is also always very fair, and researches his opponents properly. Nice to see Phil there too, as you say.
Makes me think that Matt Bloomfield and his team have excellent skills on a PowerPoint and even better presentation skills! Do you reckon they have their own branded USB sticks so the clubs can keep it after?
Given the size of the squad there, our senior managed team probably just drove up there and bundled him into the car in the City Ground car park and nobody's noticed he's gone yet.
I don’t think so, if it did it would most likely be in the Caribbean. We have had a number of players from Antigua & Barbuda and English speaking islands
If he has a good game maybe they'll make a bid in January. Considering how stuttery Wrexham's season has been they'll be bulking up in the winter window and if he plays well tonight, and they're watching (and realise he currently plays in a higher league), they might be interested. Would hate to see him go but at his age he needs games.
It's definitely ironic that the final straw for Nick Freeman was TJay getting a run in the 10 role ahead of him, but now TJay can't buy a starting appearance, owing to our depth. It's definitely a cruel old game at times.

Especially as we are already out of that competition! 😉
Well, there is that... 🤡 Ok then, “trophy”

Amazing to think two current wycombe players could line up opposite each other in a senior international game.

Has this ever happened before?
Good to see him back as he was quite ill for a while I think - he posted that he was in hospital a fair while.

Lets just hope we have the finances to put a package together that works for them and benefits us!
Didn't Kaikai play against someone else who was here? Vague memory only
I don’t think so

Also that Freeman left to presumably play in his main position, yet seems to largely play at right wing back for Stevenage, and recently been benched.
