An absolutely brilliant half, great passing and looked really dangerous going forward. A young and athletic starting XI, with an average age of 23.5! I think you would have to go back many, many years since we started a team that young in a first team game (not the Pizza cup reserve competition).
Not a bad performance among them all - Phillips looks very good but my word, Freddie Potts is growing every game and looks like he could be a superstar. Absolutely oozes class in everything he does.
Same, Blooms leaping about like a madman after each goal, probably had a difficult week but they look excellent in all areas and have real variety. Let's keep the foot down second half.
I’m enjoying your attempt to goad to be fair. We looked much better with Vokes left on the bench today, but I do have to ask you where the stats are? All I see is a momentum bar and a heat map? These aren’t stats
If you don't like the feature you'd be the one who can turn it off, not unreasonable to think it was harsh to be calling out Vokes.
Blooms was brave to go with the youngsters and a drop off in intensity is to be expected when 3 up, when their manager has had a chance to get into their players and when you swap 3 players for players a good few years older. Didn't matter a jot in the end, great day out. And lots of keen running and pressing from the midfield and full backs too, and Sadlier although he was a bit greedy, has waited ages for some minutes. Could easily have had a few more.
Wasn’t calling out Vokes, more the people who claim we attack more and better with him on the pitch, which gets proven wrong every week. I thought Vokes was excellent when he came on, but he’s not a hold up man so when we try to use him as one it doesn’t work.
Fair enough, We seem to have a specific way we want to play to him which doesn't really appear to suit him but we've now got a good set of forwards we can hopefully rotate and work on combinations.
Pages and pages have been written about the style and intent on Tuesday night and will be about the second half but the only real obvious things to take are that Pompeys squad is night and day from Fleetwoods , the budget gaps surely can't be wider in other leagues, and that we're a good young side improving.

Would prioritise Sadlier if there's time for changes personally.
Same
Brilliant half and so pleased to be here to witness it! The running off the ball and closing down has been exceptional COYB!

I predicted 0-3, but not sure it'll stay like that for the next 45.

I think we just moved their 'new manager bounce' trampoline under a concrete ceiling.
Fuckballs
Ditto
I can't even believe they are within two.
Now Fleetwood fairly predictably down to 10
Leahy you beauty - what a fantastic free kick
JJ esque from Luke.
The old red card-free kick double whammy!
Oh yes! Come on boys, 6-1 is surely achievable here.
That was shocking goalkeeping but we look great today. Very impressed with Phillips
that was definitely Phillips best performance for us so far
Sort of have to feel for Fleetwood with Vokes & GMac coming on
Vokes on and now the ball won’t stick up front because we’ve got no high press any more.
We are never going to score five in a win, are we?
This reminds me a bit of Cambridge away a couple of seasons ago, we could've easily had 8 goals so far
Thumbed down. Gonna need to post the stats again aren’t I.
Ha, Fleetwood's manager is Lee Johnson. That makes the win all the sweeter 😊
🤣🤣🤣
I’m sure you don’t need me to point out the moment Vokes came on.

He was moaning I was using the emoticons too much the other day, another facility he's built in. 😘
Let's let him have this one, all hail the doc, he knows his stuff.

7th in the league, 4 of the 6 above have played a game extra.
Actually got the goal difference to a positive, after those early season batterings.
Feels good.
