Wycombe legends or icons who also hold a similar status with other clubs
I was trying to think of some of the best examples of Wycombe legends who hold a similar status elsewhere. On a managerial level, Martin O'Neill is an obvious one with Leicester, as is Steve Guppy for the same clubs. How about players? Some of you old timers can help further back. Some recent examples, though I don't know if Tyson qualifies as a Forest icon or legend, considering their successful history?
Bayo:
Wycombe: 250 apps, 60 goals, 40 assists.
Northampton: 188 apps, 74 goals, 26 assists.
McCleary:
Reading: 270 apps, 46 goals, 24 assists.
Wycombe: 127 apps, 23 goals, 20 assists.
Tyson:
Nottingham Forest: 208 apps, 40 goals, 19 assists.
Wycombe: 140 apps, 53 goals, 11 assists.
Honorable mentions for less than 120 appearances with either us or the other club: Gareth Ainsworth, Joe Jacobson, Luke O'Nien.

Terry Evans and Jamie Bates for starters, both held in very high regard by Brentford fans.
Gareth Ainsworth, at QPR as a player, maybe manager as well eventually. Also with Lincoln.
Nathan Tyson held in high regard at Forest. Pops up on podcasts and the like and appears to still be playing at Long Eaton United which is just over the border in Derbyshire.

Going back a bit, Keith Searle at Enfield, I don't know enough about his time at Wealdstone. Larry Pritchard for sure at Sutton. Andy Graham at Wealdstone. Noel Ashford, probably for any club he has played for, however short a time. Notably Enfield, Barnet and Maidstone.
Guppy is also considered a legend amongst Vale fans.

We sometimes forget how good Nicky Evans was, in spite of his dodgy knee. In terms of football intelligence, he ranks with strikers like Simon Garner, and he had some lovely silky skills.
I have to say that Darius Charles is one of my favourite people / players of recent years. Only really played 1 season out of 3 and had what can only be described as a Roy of the Rovers journey. He defined everything about that promotion season.
Most of us have seen the heart-breaking video of him speaking when he knew his career was over. Fast forward to Wembley and I had tears streaming for that guy alone.
John Kerr is a much respected player and coach in the USA, and was capped 16 times for the USA.
