Illegal you say? On what grounds? Restraint of Trade perhaps, or a breach of the Human Rights Act 1998?
If you'd care to start a GoFundMe page to raise about £30k to cover legal costs, I'll take the case on, and apply to the High Court for permission to bring a Judicial Review.
Do we actually know if Hanlan definitely refused to play? Just listening to the Heroes of HP12 podcast where it’s very much assumed he’s refused to play, but to date I’m not sure I’ve seen anything to suggest that’s true.
It'll be the yanks manufacturing some sort of last minute car chase with a helicopter up the M6, just so they can release a new 12 part series on Disney.
I’m getting a little more convinced that Hanlan is going stay. Cue the yellow gif.
The Uche/Hanlan swap doesn’t appeal to me as it leaves us without a second striker for at least a month as Uche gets up to speed. The international break helps but it’s not easy to have no pre season and be ready fitness and match sharpness.
I'm wondering if Uche is using Wycombe to get a deal with a bigger club that would pay him more money, why has it taken so long for him to sign a contract?
Watching the Sky transfer coverage and a pundit has said that the Mo Salah transfer would give him a life changing amount of money. What change would a man earning 300k a week make?
TBH to me anyway it looks like we are swapping an unpredictable powerful striker/winger for er . . . another unpredictable powerful striker/winger. The only plus is we may, (if rumours are true), be getting a lump sum payment in🤷♂️

A beautiful city, I recall, with a wonderful cathedral. Maybe he has as yet unrevealed cultural and religious depths.
time to do away with this illegal transfer window. How on earth football can come up with their own rules which go against all laws of the land…
He's a free agent. So we can wait FOREVER.
Andy Carroll has left Reading but on a free as he had a clause that allowed him to terminate his contract.
Chelsea set new standards in piddling money away. All different ways. Remember they also had Salah for a bit.
Could be Hanlan was away having his medical on Tuesday. When he ‘refused’ to play

Perhaps Brandon has decided the grass isn’t greener. Or perhaps more likely everyone’s waiting until the last minute.
Wrexham could be in for Armstrong of Harrogate, opposed to Hanlan, though Hanlan would be cheaper by all accounts

Sky Sports are really reaching here 😂 https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1697608896213361077?t=6HpFwrNmMUYnSXQyloEHzQ&s=19
Yeah I realise that, just seems as though it all depends on Hanlan, which will have to be by 11 tonight
Uche's strike rate for us was in the Champ. 'tbf'

With a bung from Sky
That post was all a cunning ploy for the club to prove me wrong and do an "Ah ha! We tricked you heres a signing we all knew was happening" post.
They're cutting that opportunity close with it being 75 minutes after I posted it.
They are going to remake the above but with today's transfer the main theme. (Bloomsfield, Hanlan and R Couhig shown)
Let's hope their negotiator follows the playbook set by Stewart Donald over Sunderland's pursuit of Will Grigg...

Where do I stand for a corner kick?
You're going in goal if the latest internet rumour about Max Stryjek is to be believed.
Wait, is this legal threat just banter or for real? I can’t keep up.

It wasn't a threat or banter, just a tongue in cheek question.
But I do have a contact at a heavyweight firm of rottweiller solicitors, who might fancy taking on the EFL over this.

Two yachts instead of one. Don't underestimate the change that comes with a second yacht!

instead of Taylors of Harrogate?
and De Bruyne
Is this going to be one massive anti climax. Hanlan stays and Uche goes elsewhere. Looking that way.
Have a day off
