Just as an aside and I am sure a number of the gasroomers have seen him in action, but I really think that Nathan Minhas (previously Beaconsfield Town and now Slough Town) is worth a go in the FL.
The lad has scored over 50 goals in his last two seasons at Beaconsfield and may be worth a go, although he has recently signed for Slough.
Yes I know he got his goals at a level 4 tiers below league 1 but he certainly knows where the net is and is pretty quick as well.
That would be so appropriate. You know it will happen. I'm kind of banking on Gary Neville being part of the set up so that he can change human rights issues from the inside rather that criticise from the outside.
Damn it you lot. I turn up at the Gasroom and see loads of new posts in the Rumour Mill thread, so I came in here hoping to see one of you throwing a toddler tantrum and threatening legal action, and all I got was some rumours and speculation.
Persistent failure to go way off at a tangent on here is just against the spirit of the Gasroom, I fear bans may be in order if this on-topic trend continues.
Start gently with slaps on the wrist, obviously, but harsher sanctions may be required if this doesn't fix the issue.
Well as the one who threw the 'toddler tantrum', it's perhaps time to finally draw a line under all this, and apologise to Gasroom members for taking this thread way off track.
For the avoidance of any doubt, there will be NO legal action against Chas, or any other Gasroomer,
I reached out to him in a private message over the weekend, and assured him of that, suggesting that he has no need to recuse himself from the forum, just cut out the personal insults.
His dog-in-the-manger reply was that he found my message patronising, and seems to blame me for the Steve Hayes / Wasps shenanigans a few years ago. He says he won't be posting any more, but we'll see.
Sort of player to keep tabs on and maybe bring him in mid-season if he’s in form. There’s been a few in the local area that have slipped through (like Max Kilman and Ben Gladwin) and that we should have been more aware of given their proximity to us. Would certainly be interested if Minhas adjusts to life at Slough well.
Out of interest @drcongo what is the biggest down vote for a single post in here? Seem to remember one suggesting Blooms would be rested against Ipswich due to split loyalties that got the drubbing it deserved.
There's been two different thumbing systems over the life of the gasroom so I can't say for sure, but on the old version there were quite a few that beat the -20 low bar. Bargey's public tantrum currently stands at -18, though if a few more of you fancied popping back to page 43 I'm sure we could help it on its way to being the lowest point this forum has seen.
It’s actually not very Ainsworth. Ainsworth never worked his players particularly hard on fitness in pre-season - he’s admitted this personally in interviews.
I’ve heard from a very good source that Bloomfield has got the players fitter than they’ve ever been at this stage of pre-season by a long way. It’s been an intense start thus far for the players.

From what I’ve read that’s his plan to create a hybrid system.

How long until one of the UK sports or streaming channels starts showing the Saudi league ?
A triumphant return for Richard Keys and Andy Gray?
Testament to GA and Dobbo that Uche looked like a decent striker for us in the Champo - 6 in half a season, I think it was.
Ill take it 😅

I might have to start suing you all for the lack of puns.
You can't legislate for tangents, after all.
Going off on tangents is the first sine of madness.
Thank you @DevC, no way you're getting sued now.
I'll only be courting trouble if I start making puns

They love a bit of it! Parklife!

Got to be one of the late lamented Richie's (the club shop manager) posts.

The fact that it got 5 thumbs UP is a bit sad
I doubt noone would ever give me a thumbs down just to try & break a silly record!
@micra must have come close a few times when everyone was having a bit of a laugh with him
Oh are we supposed to have stopped that now? Seriously I can't keep up
#Chairboys are in action against Dagenham & Redbridge in a behind-closed-doors practice match, made up of 2x30-minute and 2x20-minute sessions
Starting: Stryjek, Jacobson, Tafazolli, Breckin, Leahy, Boyes, De Barr, Pattenden, Trialist-CB, Trialist-CM, Trialist-AM. (From Twitter)
Not only three trialists but a 100 minute match which is very Ainsworth.
If the first sub isn't until the 70th minute and the opposition were said to be very good you can call Bingo
-25
I SWEAR YOU'LL NEVER SEE ANYTHING LIKE THIS AGAIN

Not sure it's the thumbs that make that episode a Gasroom low point.
Fair point
