Hi @kipper Do you know if we have plans to bring in another striker? Or are we going to be relying on Voakes, Mellor & Hanlan as our forward striking options?
Looking at the squad list i dont think you can rule any position out bar maybe full backs/defence, but that would only be for depth as grimmer and McCarthy can cover all along the backline. still think 1 CB maybe 2 depends what happens with forino.
hard to believe i know haha but not a clue, only the links on twitter. which if true you would think forino would want the move and you wouldn't blame him for that
If we get a bung for Forino I would not begrudge him going. Think QPR might be a mistake but perhaps that is due to my worries about the immediate pressure on GA and Dobbo early doors this season. Defence is always a tricky position to be thrown into with a new team whereas he would be a regular with us gaining more game time. I may be wrong but I have high hopes for the MB squad this term.
I still think you will be lucky to get over £300k for Forino. Any team paying more than that is buying potential not a player that managed half a season last year. And I don't think QPR are in the market for buying too many potentials. If he wasn't out of contract in the summer I would say come Christmas if he has continued the form we know he can deliver and he has been injury free then it would be a Mehmeti type figure.
Totally agree. As much as I love Forino, he’s an injury prone central defender with no experience of the Championship. A fee over £300k would be good business if he really wants to leave.
Agreed as long as any sale included a high sell on percentage. If Forino continued his progression and stayed injury free, I could see him eventually being in the £10m bracket.
I'm hoping Bloomfield will keep an all out direct attack mentality... but do so by playing the ball on the deck... balls into the feet of vokes will result in a more fruitful season for him I reckon. Less hopeful punts forward...
At least Turkey has a footballing tradition (as well as a racially abusing black players tradition) for me China and Saudi are where footballers go to fade...unless they realise in time and can get back!

I think we should rename the Gasroom as this.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure Max Miller never made rape jokes.
Could it be us

I think that comes under 'Only a bit of fun' on GB News
Thank you @Chris I didn't know that I could do that!
Muskwe would be a good addition to the squad.

Looks like Sam Smith is going back to Reading. They’re (finally) starting to turn the screw. Wonder how close he was to signing for us.
The writing's on the wall
dont think we were in for him, other irons in the fire
Interesting to hear. Thanks for sharing
Hammers or Scunthorpe?

You mean you don't KNOW what's happening with Forino????😁

Agreed, then get Anthony Stewart back.
And then sign Uche Ikpeazu.
17 games and has yet to get on the scoresheet in Turkey. Makes Vokes look prolific!
I drove past cressex petrol station earlier... he wasn't there so don't worry
Seems like a backward step rather than a forward step!
And Dave Tarpey

As long as we are winning games @Alexo I am not a purist...
How about well targetted punts forward?
Hmmm, maybe not then.
