Well, Sunday I did a bit of gardening, washed the car and then spent the rest of the evening trying unsuccessfully to think of ex players who sounded a bit like something that would be on an Indian restaurant menu .
When I saw there were 134 “new” posts - I’d lost interest in getting the new home shirt weeks ago when I discovered it wouldn’t be available until after the start of the season so hadn’t visited this thread in the meantime - I cheated and went straight to page 15.
I remember reading that, when Luke was at Wealdstone, a commentator pronounced his surname as “onion” so that is particularly apt.
I really like the 3rd Red kit, however either the club or hummel have been very short sighted in getting this kit in stock. You never hear this issue with any of the Premier League or Championship clubs. With most of the Premier League clubs, the shirts are in Sports Direct before they have been announced!
Lets just hope that we don't have these issues for the next 2 years......
There's quite a few questions over the kit aren't there?
Why can we not get a decent stash of the kits in the shop?
I know we're not a huge premier league outfit, but you can't tell me getting say 200 shirts in the main adult sizes would leave us exposed over a season?
The seeming move to 1 year kits only. Only implied in what the club have said, not made 100% clear.
What the point of this 3rd kit is? And again, presumably another 1 year job? That'll probably make the gold kit seem hugely well used!
Compared to the other 2 kits its pretty boring. At least its inoffensive but feels like they ran out of ideas after 1 fantastic home kit and and equally good throwback / reissue change kit.

Anyone any idea when the new kits will actually be available to buy? As opposed to pre-order.
Posed this elsewhere on the forum today.
Is it silly to expect a decent amount of kits to be available tomorrow and the Saturday after?
Wouldn't be outrageous to expect that as a minimum would it?
My pre-order of the new shirt says it will be available from 14 August, and that hasn't changed.
So if they are in the club shop tomorrow, questions will be asked in the House.
It's Hummel, so it probably is outrageous.
You could always purchase a shirt from the vintage kit* section of the club shop.
*Last season's kits in X-small or XXX-large for full price.
That did make me chuckle. The e-commerce side of things is shocking, really.

Another nice looking kit
So presumably, that kit will be worn whenever we play a team whose main kit is blue, green and white. Not sure who that might be.
